LSU has an easier non conference schedule than usual. The UCLA game is gonna be a good one. They have a better team that usual with a true dual threat qb.stingley and ricks will take away most teams 1 and 2 but a slot corner and one of the saftey spots are up for grabs. Linebacker play should be better with our new lb coach and the two transfer lbs that were highly touted.

I think rb will be better than last year and we know what we have at qb but not which one it will be. Wrs and line have a spot or two to be filled.

If you look at uclas results from last year, they were in every game till the end and never lost by more than7

We also play
Central Michigan who has a well known coach but I forgot who. Does anyone know anything about them?
We play coach os son and mcneese.Cody orgeron is the starter at qb.

SC with a trap game on the road the 2nd weekend of the season. Gamecock fans will know all they need to about the season after that game...

Better hope KJ Costello doesn't take the field.

Kudos to your school for playing Clemson, will of course have playoff implications, and I am sure to a smaller degree recruiting. Good Job guys. Georgia has always been my 2nd favorite team.

Miami-

Concerned about an offensive clunker early on. Not only did Bama lose their best O-coordinator under Saban, but they lost 6 offensive players in the first 40 picks of the draft. Still think Bama wins by 14+ as the defense will be nasty and I doubt D’Eriq king is 100%

A&M's is rather easy this year.

Kent St, New Mexico, & PV A&M are the freebies this year.

The only game of importance is Colorado. Originally, it was a home-home match-up. They were due to play at Kyle last year and we go to Boulder this year. However, Covid ruined that so it was moved to a "neutral" site game in Denver at Mile High. I actually, do believe the crowd will be split fairly evenly with so many Aggies traveling and how apathetic Pac 12 fanbases are.

Match-up-wise, Colorado won't be able to handle our physicality on defense and hopefully, offense too. The OL set the tone last year so this year is a bit of an unknown.

Akron, Alabama State, @Penn State & Georgia State.

The more I hear about AU @ PSU, the more I am convinced these teams are almost mirror images of each other. I think it will be a close game. PSU is favored, which makes sense, but I am optimistic Auburn can go in leaning on the run game, sound defense, and let Carlson the Younger win it in the end.

I feel like we got a pretty decent OOC schedule. To me the Louisville game is a must win to start out the season. From what I’ve heard they aren’t going to be that great of team this year, and the two teams that may be good are Tulane and Liberty. Liberty is obviously the most intriguing game, with Freezus returning to Oxford. I could see that game going either way. They have a solid team, with a lot of returners and well coached. I could see it being a close game with the possibility of going into overtime.

09/02 - Bowling Green
09/11 - Pitt
09/18 - Tennessee Tech
11/20 - South Alabama

I really worry about the Bowling Green game. Their offense was abysmal last year and I think they'll roll into Neyland and score at will.

I think it'll be a 51-48 type of game with the Vols pulling one out. There will be some optimism because of the offense but a wtf with the defensive effort.

Pitt will roll in the following week and just flat out dominate both sides of the ball and that will be Heupel ball for the next 3-5 years.

Alabama has:
Miami (neutral site)
Mercer
Southern Miss (after Florida)
NM State (after LSU)

Miami is supposed to be pretty good, led by what I think is an 11th year senior at QB. Get past that, and Southern Miss and NM State would both be considered trap games - but I don't think they have anywhere near the horses to make a game out of it regardless. Southern Miss was doing well in 2019, but then just fell apart and lost the last 3 games of their season.

NM State only played 2 games in 2020, went 1-1 with a loss to Incarnate Word (but who knows what kind of team they had). They were pretty dang bad in 2019, going 2-10 including blowout losses to Alabama, Ole Miss, Washington, Georgia Southern and Liberty.

Mercer is Mercer.

In all honesty, the only threat outside of Miami OOCly is if there's a localized pandemic on campus.

It’s actually officially a Colorado home game despite the stadium it’s being played in.

That kinda sucks. Not because it’s a home game for them (Their football fan support isn’t great), but if I was a visitor I’d rather go to a game in Boulder. It’s one of the coolest stadium experiences to watch a game on campus at CU.

Maybe. But ECU isn't what they used to be. We could easily blow the doors off our first two opponents and then go like 6-6.

I also expect the crowd to be at least 1/4 Gamecock fans. Not sure if I'm going yet.

We play NC State in Starkville Sept. 11. Not sure when fall baseball starts, but would love to see us host them in a best 2 out of 3 exhibition that weekend as a middle finger to the NCAA...let Ron Polk be the honorary home plate ump.

Originally scheduled to be a two-game series between the former conference foes, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 game. Now, the two teams will play a single-game matchup at the neutral site, and the second game will not be played.

The teams were supposed to play in College Station last year (on Sept. 19), but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When the schools signed the contract back in 2015, a provision was in place for the return game to played in Boulder or Denver.

"We were disappointed that we couldn't play in College Station this year, but we worked closely with Ross Bjork (A&M athletic director) and officials at Empower Field at Mile High to bring the game to Denver," George said.

The A&M game will not be part of CU's annual season ticket package, but season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets later this spring before sales will be open to the general public.

Per the 12th man foundation and Aggie athletics it is going on the books as a Colorado home game despite being played at Mile high Stadium. They only allotted us visitor seats in the upper nose bleeds of the corners at mile high. That’s it,
