I agree, LSU's team is a bunch of queers who couldn't get it up for the biggest piece of pussy in its history. Some would make excuses and call it a mental block, everyone else would just say they are a bunch of figs and didn't have any heart if they can't get it up for the most important piece they will ever get in their lives.

Who the frick cares about that? I can tell you that this fanbase and this team was not pumped about this game like we should have been. It was just like "oh great, we get to play Alabama again".

you're mad. Alabama didn't deserve anything - the only team that deserved a spot in the national title game was LSU. Only undefeated team, beat two other conference winners and two teams ranked #2 and #3 when they played them. Contender for best resume of any college football team ever.

Alabama was no more deserving than Oklahoma State or Stanford. Half the titles any team claims pre-BCS are less reasonable than the title I think LSU should claim this year. The only way I would say that Bama deserves the title would be if they went to Baton Rouge and played LSU again before the NFL Draft and won again. Since that won't happen, I hope LSU claims a title.

well to fricking bad your favorite team got curb stomped..its our title DUMMY....go back into the woods of LOOOISHEHANA!!!

Isn't it ironic that I bring up pussy, yet y'all bring up being gay or queer. Guess we know what side of your bread is buttered.

again I've said this several times....if your team can't get up for the National Championship...that's a way bigger problem than having to play another team more than once!!! OMGEEEE THE HORROR!@#!

No the team and fans knew this was the only possible game that LSU could lose. It had nothing to do with the rematch.

This is obvious. They didn't want to play a dominating Bama team for the title because they knew how lucky they were to escape T-Town with a three point win in OT. Not to take away from that win, they earned the win although it was obvious to most that Bama was the best team in the nation. We stayed close in the polls because it was easy to see that LSU and Bama were the two most dominant teams in the country. Bama or LSU would have absolutely dominated Okie light, Stanford or any other team.

I guess by your reasoning, then, that the NC should have been called off with LSU being declared NC? What I don't understand at all, and I'm both an Alabama and LSU fan, is WHY LSU wasn't prepared to play on 1/9. I'm not sure all that behind the scenes locker room stuff we've all heard in the last 2 weeks is true and CLM is a helluva better coach than he showed that night and that team is better than it was that night. Still, ya gotta play the game if you want to win and Bama did that on 1/9. :)

This year. Bama did not win their division nor the conference championship. They did not deserve to be in the NC game. And LSU beat them at their place during the regular season.....Okla State got screwed......

I can certainly see why you would want the "most deserving" team to be in it instead of the two best teams. It gives you a better chance of winning.

As a betting man, after Nov 5th, I gave Bama little to no chance making it to New Orleans.

I like the system exactly like it is. Some years you are going to get screwed.

The BCS has gotten it right more often than not.

LSU would have won the NC if playing OSU or Stanford. I am not sorry both those teams lost to shite teams. OSU and Stanford losing was not a conspiracy by gumps.

I want New Years Day to mean something again.

I think Texas would've beaten them and if McCoy didn't get hurt early that next game would have been much better

And I think Oklahoma would have beaten Texas if Bradford hadn't gotten hurt in the Texas game that very same season.

I think the best solution would be to keep the season and bowls exactly as they are now, then take the "final" post-bowl BCS rankings and add a three game, four team playoff.

The only changes that would have to happen would be to maybe shorten the length of bowl season, so we aren't waiting two months from the end of the regular season to crown a champion.

I don't think the SEC would be hamstrung by having a championship game, as it appears every major conference will have one in the next five years. That said, I don't believe in any conference champions getting "automatic bids" in any playoff, as being your conference champ doesn't mean you are one of the best teams in college football as a whole.

What would have been a better metaphor? Impotence? Your guys couldn't get it up when it mattered the very most? Infertility? When it came time to knock the chick up and carry on the species, your boys were firing blanks?

The system worked. I thought LSU was the second best team this year and they deserved to get in. Yeah OSU vs Alabama would have been a more enjoyable game for the general public but screw them.

By the way, I was on record here BEFORE the November 5th game saying that if LSU lost, there should be no rematch. The game on November 5th was supposed to be a semifinal game. Plus, Bama had to do nothing to show up in the championship game while LSU still had to get through Arkansas and Georgia.

Wrong- We had to win all our remaining games in convincing fashion to remain in contention,& we did just that

If you were here before the November 5th game, how come it shows that you joined in January 2012?

Not flaming, just asking how you were able to pull that off?
