re: LOL at Bama Fans bitching about poor officiating

Wanna grow a set,and name who EXACTLY you're talking about? You must be one of the LSU fans who said the only reason you lost to Bama in January was because of the play calling

What the hell, steele put his arms around the guy. Need more defensive stands like that last block. Getting too close for comfort

We always seem to struggle defending the 3,for whatever reason,IMO. Like someone else said,we need to figure it out. If they shoot 43% for the game,we most likely get beat.

Prototypical, with a great pocket presence. Seems they win more Championships

Same as Micheal Dyer for AU.

Seriously? They're gonna wish they would have stayed in their conference for the first few years.

Been hearing some not so good news on Crowell. Care to elaborate? Found this on another board.
pretty much rumors are all there is to talk about right now, so..... anybody heard anything about all this? i heard a piece of it on 680 in atl, but i was working and missed most of it. i found this on an osu board, because there is a rumor that he might be wanting to transfer.
Just got back from dinner with some friends. Here's what I heard.
Crowell got tagged by a scout teamer and got in his face about hitting too hard in practice. The guy mouthed back that he better look for worse on Saturday. This was said to have happened on Tuesday, and the rest of practice was routine. Wednesday Crowell supposedly put on a green non-contact jersey and said his ankle was stiff. One of the assistant coaches took him to a trainer. The trainer gave him a routine of exercise bike, skipping rope, and practicing cut moves on his own. He walked away and stood around.
The starting FB and Jarvis Jones took him to the side and lectured him on the need to work for the team. This has happened 3 or 4 times already this season. The OC and Richt have done the same. Crowell came in last June out of shape and has been unenthusiastic about weight and conditioning training. That's why he plays sporadically in every game. When he puts in the effort he is unstoppable, but he taps out after every 2 or 3 carries. He has been suspended once for failing a drug test, and 2 times for attitude. (those were the "injury" ganes). He is not in good condition and would be a monster if he was, but it seems he doesn't like to get hit hard. Tough luck for an SEC RB.
The other players don't like him because he is concerned only about himself. Word is he is on the weed quite often, and has often reeked with the smell in classes. It is said that he misses about half his classes and expects the tutors to do the work for him.
Likely he will have failing grades in 2 weeks, and probably won't do any better next spring. That's why Richt made that speech to the media last week aimed at Nick Marshall. He and the AD are thinking Crowell will flunk out and be gone before the spring game. But I also think Richt will "suggest" he go elsewhere to play.
I understand several players have been giving him lectures this week and all season to try to change his attitude.
I think if the RB situation wasn't so thin this year he might be sitting the bench but unfortunately that isn't the case. But expect him gone next year.

Why would I be mad watching a first year coach lose with a bunch freshmen? It's like getting mad at Petrino's first season as a coach. The fact that I'm watching Bama's best team ever is hilarious to me. We actually have a future, while Bama is at their pennacle.
Says who, you? Tall words considering your team just got it's arse kicked at home, where all you talk about is how they never lose at home

Mid-season processing, Coach is an innovator. Clearing room for that large signing class.
We have no one committed for 2012. Grant should be fired.
This^^^^. Grant has obviously lost this team. I've been a BB and Football fan for over 40 years. This is one of the FEW times I've seen a coach completely lose his team. 3 years into his coaching tenure,Grant hasn't proved anything except he can coach defense,IMO.

re: Who wins tonight between Alabama @ Auburn?

Hate to say it,but I think we lose by 4-8 points. Our record on the road speaks for itself & auburn will be up for this game to boot.

22-2? I'll take that record anyday. Doubt we have ever had that record at Bama.
re: Will Nick Saban ever win again against Les Miles??

Think about what you're asking. Will Saban ever beat Les again? It's one thing to be confident, another entirely to be stupid.

Bama by 6-8,and ONLY because we are at home. This game will go down to the wire, especially if we don't make any 3 point shots.

That is rich coming from your dumbass.
Funny, most of your forum topics are always badmouthing Saban and how he continues to cheat, year after year since he arrive. Where is the proof?

re: Let's predict your team's record for the 2012 season...
Posted by krimsuntater on 2/2/12 at 5:49 pm
10-2
Possible losses to Arky & LSU. Our season hinges on,IMO,our defense being able to learn quickly. We had some major losses there.

Reaching back a bit,I'm surprised nobody mentioned the HIT and subsequent fumble with Ed Scissum in the Iron Bowl. Seconds later losing on a field goal.
