This seems like a response thread. What got you triggered?

Pretty much, correct.

But, with this guy, who else do you need...

hard to decipher from the image if he is cheering, yawning, or in the middle of a tourette's inspired tirade

No i was just curious honestly. It blows my mind that no other SEC schools can figure out how to get students to games.

No room with the 12,500 other fans in the stadium

There’s only 1 reason students come and that’s for the alcohol. You take that away and right field isn’t as packed.

It’s come a long way. When I was there in the mid nineties there were about ten or so of us and a single charcoal grill.

frick. It’s baseball season again, where the Mississippi fans come out and beat their chest about their fricking student section.

Ole Miss students waste beer when they hit homeruns, while every other school shotguns beer.

Thanks for the great visual aid.

I assume this is only 1/10 of your "right field" section that you like to claim holds 3,000+ people, because there's a max of maybe 300 people in that picture. Let's be generous and say this represents 1/3 of the right field area. That would max out that area at around 1,000 people. Hell, I'll give you 1,200 for a Super, assuming they let people SRO around the actual built terraced "grandstand"

I'm a numbers guy and I've never seen any institution constantly oversell itself like Ole Miss does in every area.

And a frisbee and a couple of dogs. I remember it well.

I know what a 12,000+ crowd looks like. Baum has 10,700 chairbacks. It also has SRO all around the interior concourse. Baum also has a large left field area, which includes a grandstand that seats probably 500 people itself, and a larger lawn area where people set up chairs.

The main grandstand at Swayze seats 6000. Grandstands with assigned seats are really efficient at maxing out the number of people you can seat in a given area.

To claim that you can put nearly as many people in your outfield SRO areas, which are terraced and covered with lawn chairs is just flat out lying.

I'd bet there has never been a crowd of 10,000+ at Swayze. Physically impossible.

Imagine how many Zimas and wine coolers Texas A&M students waste when they see a homerun, and that's just the males in attendance
