I tell you, looking at these old pics of Hilliard and Alexander I really miss the old uniforms. Our gold has certainly become too yellow over the last 20 years or so.

I was just watching that video, getting ready to post it.
Chuck Webb was the best.
Jamal was close.

How Steve Spurrier left him off his heisman ballot when the dude damn near ran for 1k yards on his team in his SEC career is beyond me
Tell the truth LSU fans, when that dude touched the ball did your heart start to pitter a bit, cuz damn there are alot of LSU highlights with DMAC.

Amen brother...I agree. They also look like they're a too shiny or "reflective" yellow, no?
And 91Tiger....I LOVE your avatar...that is the BEST helmet that LSU had....wish they still had it. Brings back some great old memories.

Middle Tennessee State Univ. - Joe Campbell
Recruited as a defensive back out of Nashville's Stratford High School by many schools, Campbell chose Middle Tennessee and Coach Boots Donnelly in order to fulfill his dream of being a college running back. Proving them both correct, he left the Blue Raiders in 1991 as the all-time career leader in rushing yards (3,823 yds.), touchdowns (45) and scoring (272 points). He was OVC Player of the Year in 1990 and All-OVC in '89, '90 and '91. He was named to the Associated Press All-American, Kodak AFCA All-American, Walter Camp All-American and Sports Network All-American teams in 1990 and the Kodak AFCA All-American team in 1991. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in both 1990 and 1991 and was a spiritual leader both on and off the field. He remains a fan favorite to this day.

Musso and Alexander were great ones. I also liked Major Ogilvie, but could not find a pic to post.
Apparently, the destruction of every single photo of Ogilvie streaking down the sideline with his tear-away jersey flapping behind him was one of the sanctions levied by the NCAA for the textbook dealio.

JJ Johnson was good but I'd put him about 4th. He and Keffer McGee were similar to me.
1. Jerious Norwood
2. Michael Haddix
3. Walter Packer
4. JJ Johnson
