Watson said that Bryant is a better QB than him. Watson is not a very good liar.

Jalen Hurts is a guy who I think would need to make up his mind really soon.
Unless I'm mistaken, he's played in all 4 games. That means he can't play again and redshirt. It seems like it would absolutely be in his best interest to redshirt this year which would mean no more playing time.
I'm pretty sure he has played every game. Bama fans have been talking about how Tua has only been playing half-games (at least until TAMU.) Unless Saban has developed some sort of weird 'prevent offense' that doesn't require a QB, Hurts has been coming in. And logic says it's all but certain Hurts isn't going to redshirt. Saban wouldn't have burned up all 4 games to start the season, especially since none of the games were close, if he intended for Hurts to redshirt. It would have been extremely poor strategy, and Saban is a chess master.
I suppose it's possible that Hurts will now transfer immediately and do a redshirt, but that seems wildly unlikely. He strikes me as a good kid. Just not a great passer.

I don't know, but I think Jalen has no delusions about ever being a NFL qb. I suspect a coaching career is what he is really after. He has many good leadership traits and I wouldn't be surprised if he finds himself as a graduate assistant at Bama after his eligibility is up.

Who knows. Jalen might be the head coach at Alabama someday.

Maybe, but I was thinking more of him building a nice resume, and landing a head coaching job back in Texas. Working his way up to a major college job one day. Like I said I don't know Jalen's plan but I know his Dad is a high school coach in Texas.
