It’s hilarious that Bama & UGA fans are united on this front… Saban got out just at the right time but his long time bag man (Kirby) is still having to deal with it. It’s just so unfair and down right wrong.

OP and Kirby are both right
I can’t blame Kirby his strategy has been compromised greatly
He’s still finding ways to win a lot of games but just not at the highest level now

It's truly inspirational how LSU was able to win championships without getting their hands dirty in the unseemly world of collegiate recruiting.

It is what is now. College football is pretty much in the sewer now. DIS/ESPN is flushing traditions down the toilet to make extra money to bail out the four letter network. But don’t worry fans/alumn! You’ll love the new changes!

He's right. And I hate that sumbitch. He's just a real football coach. One of, if not the best in the game right now. Some of these players, don't give a shite, anymore. That's what happens when you give an unproven 18 year old a million dollars. He has all the weed, the cars and sorority girls he can handle. Football becomes secondary. They think if some dumb arse is giving me millions to play football here. Then the NFL will certainly give me tens of millions. It's a catch 22 with the universities, you have to pay the top tier talent. Because without them now, you have no chance of winning.

I’m almost ready to find better things to do on Saturdays. Yes. College football is great. Been a fan of it for decades. Graduated from LSU and Arizona State. But how much can we was fans be seen as hillbilly/redneck walking ATM’s anymore by the networks who dictate to the NCAA? It’s going to fans to boycott to get some results. LSU doesn’t play Bama next year…..that alone tells you how low things have gotten. And…..in the near future welcome in a super conference combo big10/SEC and remnants of a destroyed big 12/ACC. College football fans are the most die hard in any sport but how much will enough is enough be for us?

I just follow games on my phone for the most part and watch parts of games here and there before going to to do something else

Yet you spend your Saturday's and Sunday's on here crying between bites of your binge and purge cycle of shame based overeating.

The game has been forever changed, and not for the better. Espn and the NCAA seem hellbent on making it even worse.

Nick saban 2012: this hurry up temp offense isn’t good for the game, but if it’s what you want
LSU fans: sabans a bitch, he’s just mad he lost his advantage

ESPN would break up Ohio State/Michigan, Texas/TAMU and Alabama/Tennessee if it was found to make them money. Bristol CT is made up of east coast pukes who have little knowledge of college football tradition. Now combine that with super greed. These are the gold ol’days because it’s just going to get worse for tradition and fans.
