poor auburn they get a heisman winner and then get to see their future
You're an idiot if you think the death penalty will be handed out to a program ever again.

Not saying AUburn will get it, but the rule exists for a reason and it was given to SMU for a reason. Don't think the NCAA wouldn't use it again because they completely would (so long as it suited their best interests)

I guess you missed the entire decade of run-ins SMU had with the NCAA before getting the death penalty?
Basically the first half of the show?

Here's to AU getting death penalty within the next couple years

What is going on at Auburn is just as bad as this or worse.

And I can't wait for it to all be exposed.

I thought you only lived in bluetuna's thread?
Came out for awhile to spread your insider knowledge?

And... they finally gave it to them?

One of my favorite 30 for 30's.
After watching that I can see no way the NCAA gives out the death penalty unless a team is proven to have paid for players and does it several years back to back.
But after saying that, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Auburn sequel 25 years from now. The parallels were so identical it was unnerving.

1. Good show.
2. People SHUT THE frick UP ABOUT AU AND THE DEATH PENALTY. It is not even possible. AU is not in the 5 year repeat violator window. It is impossible and I can't believe so many of you are so fricking ignorant and just flat out stupid and pathetic you do not even know this after this long.
3. Bama is the only SEC team that is even a remote possibility of the death penalty. No one else even qualifies right now.

this show was awesome BTW.
and it certainly was no coincidence it was aired after the Heisman trophy presentation when ESPN has known for weeks Cam Newton was likely going to be the winner.

Nice try, Special Ed.
Fail, unfortunately.
The "30 for 30" schedule was released July 29, 2010.
Keep on believing though.

Did you see how nervous Cheznic looked while Cam was up there?
He was breathing funny...
Like "Oh God, this moment is almost over, and it's going to be so bad one day"

If Bama didn't get it earlier this decade than no one will again.

Fact. Bama was a repeat serial violator that paid $100k for a sorry arse lineman. No telling how much they were paying players that were actually good. Like the NCAA said, worst violations the NCAA had EVER seen.
