So do the Gamecocks go 11-2 AGAIN, do worse, or better?

Thursday, August 28, vs Texas A&M*
Saturday, September 6, vs East Carolina
Saturday, September 13, vs Georgia*
Saturday, September 20, at Vanderbilt*
Saturday, September 27, vs Missouri*
Saturday, October 4, at Kentucky*
BYE
Saturday, October 18, vs Furman
Saturday, October 25, at Auburn*
Saturday, November 1, vs Tennessee*
BYE
Saturday, November 15, at Florida*
Saturday, November 22, vs South Alabama
Saturday, November 29, at Clemson

I could absolutely see 11-2 again. 12-1 is probably our ceiling. Worst I can predict would be 8-4. Toughest game is @Auburn.

I see between 3-4 losses. Same for UGA.

You seem proud of your 11-2 season.

Where, on the whole, although I am proud of Bama's 11-2 season, there were higher hopes.

But to answer your question:

Potential losses are: aTm, Georgia, Missouri, Auburn, Florida, and Clemson.

You won't lose all of these, for sure, but maybe half.

And all the other games are not 100% wins.

I'd say 9-3.

9-3 which would still be a nice season for you all. Ceiling at 10-2.

11-2. Losses at Auburn and at Vanderbilt. We're getting payback for that no-call PI on 4th down the last time you all came to Nashville. Get ready for the wrath of 39k!

Of course. Although, I wouldn't be making this thread had this been the first time we went 11-2. This is more like a "Dang, 3 seasons in a row exactly the same, how much longer can we keep it up?" kinda thread.

Everyone's hopes are to win the National Championship. We accomplished some of our goals this year but not all as those 2 losses really hurt. Not every goal (win East, win SEC, win BCSNC) was accomplished because we had higher hopes.

Undoubtedly. This is a way too early look at our schedule and we have no idea how good/bad teams will be. I could also see us dropping a game to someone like Vandy or UK (see UT this past year)

Furman could be a trap game.

I agree but I'm also disappointed it had to happen a year too late. Would've liked to have seen Clowney try to contain Manziel. Oh well.

Introducing the SEC Network at home isn't a bad deal either.

But frick it, we were right there. That's why I was upset. Lose your first two then reel off 11 in a row would make you feel better than the other way around. That's all I am saying.

Nah. We strategically placed our 1st BYE right before we welcome the Paladins to Williams-Brice. We'll be ready for 'em.

HEY! Don't put us back into that category! We have moved up from the cellar a little. You have to give us that. Such negativity will only be allowed if Franklin's official. Then it will be acceptable (under protest) on the argumentative grounds that we lost almost every major piece of our team.

actually, the last time we played furman in 2010 it was a week before Auburn, just as it is this year, and it was a very close game until late in the fourth
