LSU’s only competition the past 25 years has been 1) itself and 2) Nick Saban.
The outside response to the Lane Kiffin hire has galvanized the LSU base stronger than I ever thought possible. In the past, one small bump in the road sent the bus tumbling off a cliff. Today, it’s full steam ahead, us against everybody mentality. I can’t wait to see it translate on the field.

You guys have spent the entire offseason trolling Ole Miss. You guys have been trolling every team that is getting national recognition as possible contenders this year. None of us are taking it personal.
You guys also hedged by setting “low expectations” on Lane regardless that you guys are ranked preseason Top 12, have top end talent in the SEC, number 1 transfer class, most expensive roster in the nation. That way if you guys lose, anyone that trolls you guys will look foolish bc you guys can always cite you didn’t have high expectations to begin with.
Don’t take this board personal, and don’t spend all year gatekeeping who can get made fun.
With that said, every single time you guys lose, you guys set yourselves up to get ribbed. But the best reactions is your own fanbase on TigerRant melting after any loss. The overreactions will be funny.
