my mistake, championship weekend.

Not necessarily. They wipe the slate clean each week. This week's rankings have little bearing on next week's.

We have 3 years of sample sizes showing that teams indeed win games and move down in the poll.
I am done discussing this with you because you simply can't grasp how this works.

Again, Ohio State did not win their conference last year
They also had a better resume than Alabama and UGA will have this year.

I agree with his analysis......

That is virtually impossible because each team still has the prior resume, so that doesn't make any sense. Basically, that is like saying weeks 1-9 are rendered meaningless. When the committee says that, and yes they've said it, they are simply stating that there may be a change to some teams rankings up or down even though they may have performed well that week. Just like Jake was saying earlier, Georgia could go to Auburn and win, but if Notre Dame gets blown out in Miami this weekend, Georgia could suddenly become much weaker in the committee's opinion.

bullshite. All you have to do is look at the new resumes.

I don't see both teams making the playoff unless there's less than 3 one loss conference champions.
IMHO, the only way the SEC has a chance to get two teams into the playoff is for this combination of things to happen:
1) Georgia and Alabama win out impressively and have a close SECCG.
2) Wisconsin must lose a game along the way, preferably in a blowout in their championship game to a two loss Ohio St/Penn St./Mich St/Michigan team. (I think that's who is still possible, that division is a mess)
3) Washington needs to lose to a Pac12 South team in their championship game.
4) Helpful but not strictly necessary would be an Oklahoma loss. They look awesome on offense but the defense looks bad. Real bad.

No shite, but they don't do it without a logical reason.

can you leave those teams out
Ask Baylor and TCU

Yes and that resume CHANGES from week to week. Like if your precious ND team loses to Miami and/or Stanford.

Do you really really believe this?
Because if you do, I have some oceanfront development property for sale in New Mexico. It's a little raw but I think with a little TLC, it could have a nice view and be a real gem in the neighborhood.

That is much better than what the loser of UGA and Bama will have.

Thank you. If Alabama were to win out, they would have wins over a ranked LSU, Auburn, and Georgia. Georgia would stil have wins over a ranked Notre Dame, Mississippi State, and Auburn team, with a loss to a highly ranked Alabama team. All of this beyond this week is hypothetical of course, but both of those resumes would be in the same range of the one you just mentioned.

You absolutely can. And there's a whole bunch of ifs and maybes in there.
So I don't disagree with the idea that Wisconsin could get in, but the idea that they completely control their own fate is bogus. Jake's comments about ND only being a quality win because of their record currently is a shining example. "Controlling your own fate" implies that independent of other teams win loss, you win and you're in. Other than maybe Bama, UGA, and ND, I'm not sure there are any other teams that can claim that. The loser of the SECCG will no longer control their fate, but if any of those three win out, I don't see them being left out (or jumped even... Not sure there are enough quality games on the other contenders schedules that would allow them to leap frog.)
So there is an in between ground to thinking Wisconsin has their fate in their own hands and thinking that they'd definitely get beat out as an undefeated team... It's situational...
