They were/are terrible. I turned them off after they claimed someone fumbled and the ball never hit the turf.

The best was prolly when Greg was sacked in mid throw.
Verne said now is that a fumble or a forward pass.

No doubt that Verne has been sucking up to Tebow for years, but I thought he was pretty fair in the bama beatdown.
My vote would be to retire Verne. He really is losing it. Gary, I can deal with.

I couldn't believe he said that. Then when he thought Hernandez was trying to lateral the ball when it was Reamer who clearly punched it out.
Verne needs to hang it up. Gary at least knows what's going on even if he is a bit insufferable sometimes.

I watched the replay and it was embarrasing.
I think the word is out on Verne. He screws up number, names, plays, he even thought you could return a kick of a field goal post the other night.
Gary is a little more tricky. Some people like himi because he does have a high knowledge of the game. My problem with hiim outside of his seemingly arrogant announcing, is that he doesn't do his homework.
Todd Blackledge, who I believe to be the best color guy in the biz, gets there days early to watch film and talk to coaches. You don't get the same effort from Gary.
For example, he and Verne both freaked out the other night when Bama opened up in the shotgun. If you had watched Bama all year (and they should have) you would've known we spent a lot of time in the gun.

These guys almost don't know football. When the extra point hit the upright and the player caught the ball they didn't know if it was live or dead. The best though was in the Florida Arkansas game where somebody fumbled going in for a score and both of them started asking if the ball was going to revert back to the other team. They are pathetic.

If they arent banned from CFB after this season, then that is an injustice to us all.
Honestly, I think they were so bad Saturday because us shutting down Tebow completely messed up their repertoire(sp?). They couldnt talk about Tebow for 3 hours, so thy had to revert to talking about Mark Igram's father's incarceration. PATHETIC.

Verne thought it was an incomplete pass, after the Arkansas WR ran forty yards after the catch.

You mean when Greg Childs caught a pass ran for 60 yards and the ball was stripped as he crossed the goaline and recovered his own fumble in the endzone. The funny quote was "Is it an incomplete pass?"
