[quote]Kyler

-better completion rate than Tua
-more YPA than Tua
-plays with a way worse rushing attack due Anderson's absence than Tua's
-plays with a way worse defense than Tua's
-more dangerous rushing the football, better YPC

By almost every metric and logical analysis, Kyler deserves the Heisman over Tua with how important he is to the entire Oklahoma football program and this season whereas Alabama will still win games if Tua submits subpar performances due their defense and dominant rushing attack but I won't begrudge the voters if they select Tua, he's the best player on the best and most dominant team in America, the Steve Young of college football

Kyler is doing something that Baker did. Tua is doing something that no QB in Alabama history has done

It'd be nice if he won, but the Heisman is a joke. I won't get too worked up about it either way.

He ain't. Not only does nobody question his fitness (nor do they question Kyler's, just to be clear) but Tua's been big news since last year's title game. The Heisman voters are like anyone else -- the more they see a name, the more it sinks into their consciousness. The hard fact of the matter is that Tua has just plain had more press, and is leading the #1 team in the country to what has been, thus far, a historic season. Kyler just can't compete with those other factors. He's deserving, but he's had the bad luck of being deserving in a season with someone equally deserving...and more successful.

The only way I will feel bad about this year is if Georgia beats us twice. And that ain't happening.

Agreed, but Kyler is very likely to have a career day against Texas. And that means a shitload of yards.

Guys like Manziel get the Heisman, and Kyler is like Manziel.

He wouldn't win it if he were at LSU, no matter how good his stats.

I have never cared about individual player awards.

The only award that I care about is the team Trophy.

Football is a team sport after all.

I think you have a point. I thought Derrick Henry won it in 2015 because of his impact on the team, vs his standing as the best player.

But Tua has an argument as both.

OP is stupid.

TUA has legit played like 4 1/2 less games the Kyler but has almost the same stats. TUA is walking away with this. He will get 80%+ of the total vote.

Let me let you in on a little secret. Most of the voters have already sent their ballots in this week. Saturday will have little to no difference in results. Tua has already won it.

I hope Kyler wins.

It will be the first time the award has gone to an entitled, pre-madonna (prima donna), half-asian leprechaun midget. Diversity, and other SJW bullshite, yo.

Yea, except the one that takes all passing stats and ties them up a nice little efficiency bow. Is that a metric? No?

Again, how the hell does this hurt Kyler Murray's numbers?

Kinda hard for Tua to not light up defenses when he has all day to let the routes develop because their O line out there going captain insano clotheslining folks.
