It’s not all about having the money to recruit and coaching. It’s also how the coach fit in the school’s culture. Elko fit in A&M’s culture like a glove. The same goes for Cignetti at Indiana.

What? Indiana didn't have any football culture. Cignetti created the culture.

This post was spot on..Indiana has Cuban writing checks... Mizzou has plenty of people with large checkbooks... Paying Drinkpiss elite money is not getting it done ..

Penn State and Auburn seems like he has a good shot at either

Didn't read all that shite, but caught this.

Know who always had starters on special teams?

Saban.

Yep, and he learned it from Urban Meyer after he saw Florida doing it.

I never really looked, but I figured it was common now.

Last week they were telling me how they were the proof parity was happening in college football and that people like me were scared of it.

Regardless, his culture is working out well at Indiana. Drink’s a perfect fit at Mizzou.

Drink is fine, school has plenty of NIL resources. New OC, take another crack next year. His post game did come across a bit like he gone, but then again could just be because he let the Aggie yell leaders push his shite in.

Cignetti could very well be a flash in the pan, IU’s schedule is a joke.

The SEC is the deepest league by FAR. Very few gimmes in this league, roster quality top to bottom of the league is loaded. Drink needs to fire Moore and keep grinding.

That's always hard to say. Was anybody on this forum fired up when the Aggies hired Elko or Indiana hired Cignetti? I don't recall any of that.

All I know is that in nearly 6 years, Drinkwitz has yet to net a signature win in the SEC. Why should that be acceptable anywhere?

You don't have a clue. There is no $29 million buyout if he leaves for another job. That's what my OP says. And it also says Missouri is not going to fire him because of that $29 million buyout if he is canned.

It’s about both. And without both… a team will fall behind

Exact same things Auburn fans said when they fired Gus.

A&M spends a lot more money than Missouri, there is nothing that really indicated Elko is a great coach to be honest. He ain't fricking up this year so far, but they've also played the easiest schedule in the SEC, maybe 2nd easiest at best if Ole Miss drops below them this week. We'll see if he lives up to the hype or if he ends up like Drink where 1 week everyone is claiming he's great, and now you are crying about him.

And Cignetti was probably on some peoples radar, he had JMU in the top25 last year in their 2nd year as an FBS team. So if you see a guy like that then that's one thing, but like I said - who are you going to hire? Is there a guy like Cignetti who has a decent history in lower divisions? I don't keep up with those leagues.

You don't get it! Drinkwitz is the best we could have gotten. He took a long time to get things turned around. Who is out there that can do a better job than Drinkwitz? The experts were saying the main issue was lack of experience at quarterback. Last game the rookie started his first game and what did you expect from a rookie? No top program starts a rookie and expect to do well from start to end. Have you lost your mind?

Klein from KSU is a good example. Kansas HC is another example. Drinkwitz is another example but had only 1 year HC experience before getting the Missouri HC job.
