Sucks for UGA, but it wasn't the loss, it was the margin. LSU is their ISU this year. I'd pick them to beat both ND and UM, but it's not hard to see why they are behind those two right now.

As always, spot on. We could afford the loss... We couldn't afford the final margin. If it had finished a 10 point game (which it was with ~10 minutes to go before the late INT and fumble), we'd probably be in the top four. Especially now, having seen Bama handle the same environment with relative ease.

But at the end of the day, it likely won't matter. It's basically been beat Bama or bust all year as far as the playoff picture goes for us.

7 is pretty fair for LSU at this moment. Some good wins but gets blown out against Bama.

Didn't know getting your crap pushed back at your own backyard against 45 recruits was such a spectacular accomplishment.

I don't think anyone is beating us this year unless we have key injuries but IF we were to lose, it would be better to lose to State.

Also, if AU or GT upsets UGA and we win out but lose the SECCG, we would get in over a 2 loss UGA.

solid chance neither of y’all get in if that craziness actually happened

Michigan
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Clemson

Would go before both of y’all I would think

I don't think OU gets in over a 1 loss SEC team.

ETA I meant a SEC team, we would not have to win the championship to get in but I don't think 2 SEC teams will get in so UGA would have to lose again.

In your scenario that’s a 2 loss Sec champion

If we win every game except the SECCG, we would have 1 loss. UGA would have 2 losses.

Yeh bro, and you wouldn’t be sec champion

It would be a 1 loss on sec champ Bama, and a 2 loss sec champion Uga based on what you said:

If that happens, neither team is going unless other chaos ensues

I misspoke about us being champions but I do think that we get in with 1 loss over OU and UGA would have to lose to AU or GT, which I do not think will happen.

How are they in over Michigan if Michigan also wins out?

LSU at 7 is respectable. If Michigan loses to OSU, they're moving up. Alabama beating Georgia by a significant margin in the championship game will probably bump them ahead of Georgia. Problem is, ND and Oklahoma don't play anybody with a pulse, and Clemson is rolling.

To be honest, I'd like to see Leach and coach o in the playoffs just for the pressers.

OU could beat WVU then WVU could get revenge the following week in the Big 12 championship game so the door is open for LSU if they win out. They would need a lot but anything is possible. Still a lot of football to be played. I also think Syracuse might beat ND.

Add Florida to the too high list. Sitting at number 15 despite losing 2 in a row, the second of which was a 21 point home loss to previous winless in the conference Mizzou.
