This is the sense of entitlement the Bama fans I know have, this is reality in their minds...
It's the reality in your mind too. And more importantly, it's the reality in the committee's mind as well.

No clarification needed. They have always said "the four best teams". They have never wavered from this

If the goal is "the four best teams in America", cool. Then that would likely be OSU, LSU, Clemson, and Bama.
Just because they have supposed talent due to recruiting does not equal "best". That term is one proven by play on the field and without having a win over a quality opponent all season Bama will not have proven they are one of the 4 "best"
Stop confusing one of the 4 "with the most potential" with best.

This is so subjective. There's no way for anyone to know who the best four teams are, especially when teams in contention share almost zero common opponents.
It's especially difficult when Bama, by seasons end, will have played 2 top 25 opponents and gone, at best, 1-1 in those games.

It says they started to get conservative and tried to burn clock.
Coach O admitted that he asked Brady to burn clock during the third quarter due to the lead.... let that sink in a moment, LSU was killing clock in the 3rd, at their house! Bama hasn't proven to be one of the 4 best at anything besides begging for second chances!

Either way, if their spokesperson/committee chair would provide that point of clarification, it would save the talking heads a great deal of speculation.
They change stuff on a weekly basis at times. In 2017 they said Bama and OSU were close. OSU went out and beat a top 5 team and Bama sat at home when one of their top 25 "wins" lost. The next week they said Bama was "clearly" a top 4 team. They don't care about backlash

Four best teams where “best” is determined by resume.
A non-conference champion will be selected only if that team undoubtedly has a top 4 resume. If resumes are close, a conference champion will get the nod over the non-conference champion.

Bingo Jon, people want to twist the word to fit their agenda. The goal has been stated and it is clear they will take a conference champ vs a non champ if record is equal.

See how this works, frickface?

Of course its subjective. They said they take everything into account.

I agree. I always knew the four team playoff was bullshite and its only purpose is to give them the flexibility to make sure their big name teams never miss the playoff.
Basically every season starts off with bama, Ohio state and clemson in the playoff and they have to play their way OUT of the playoff not in.

This is likely true. I cant think of a time where they didnt take a conference champ instead of a non conference champ with the same record. Thats why Bama would need help.

Look, bitchtits. Nobody fears Bama anymore. After the beat down by Clemson last year and the domination LSU put on you this year, you are no longer a threat.

This would be my goal of the 2019 CFP:
•Find a way to get Clemson to lose before CFP.
•Declare the 2019 CFP to only need 1 round (tOSU vs LSU).
•Relegate Bama against Clemson in some Thursday afternoon bowl game in December.

If that’s the case they should just put the 4 top recruiting teams there every year. It’s a combination of resume and eye test. Bama has a shite resume.

It's four best conference champions, unless one of them has a subpar record. That is the goal, and has been for years now

I actually agree with you even though you’re going to get shredded just because your a bama fan.
Also lol you lost.

Bama one of the 4 best. Based on what?

We got beat,
True, and LSU's reward for that is likely to play Bama, again.
Playoff spots in EVERY other sport are earned. Not in CFB it seems.
