No idea. We need them through the playoffs. Worry about the after later.

But given Lane told them to get on the plane today or they wouldn't have a job at LSU, I don't think they'll be in BR next year.

What do you mean not in this context? HC doesn't matter for how well you will do in the playoffs?

I don’t think they will be dropped out but if Alabama wins the SEC, I could see them dropping to 9.

Notre Dame will host.

This may motivate Ole Miss to get in here and kick some arse. I would love to see them win the whole thing.

Only person gone is Lane and his brother. Lane doesn’t play on the field. I don’t think this is an FSU situation.

I think they’ll talk about it just to villainize Lane and LSU BUT

I think the CFP needs the storyline of the unity of the first home game after The Great Betrayal and attack by tor Sith.

Did you watch the opening round games last year? They were AWFUL television. CFP needs better stuff.

Sounds like Ole Miss cut out the cancer while saving the patient.

Do yall really think OM OC is okay with DC being named as HC?

You can't say that this is not extremely disruptive to OM. I have no dog in the fight but don't see how OM doesn't take a step back.

No, they didn’t lose any players. It’s about the Jimmy and Joes. Lane Kiffin be damned

Not that much. We've seen teams play better after losing their HC multiple times this year as well.

Next man up as always. 1 person is not a program. He obviously was a big part in building it all, but the building doesn't fall because the engineer leaves the building.

Plus, how far did you expect them to go even if Kiffin stayed?

Of course we will. We couldn’t have anticipated our spineless metrosexual of a coach would abandon his team and staff during a playoff run. But better to tell Lane to frick off and suck one rather than letting it be Lane Kiffin football. So happy that frick is gone.

They lost the offense. It’s Kiffins offense with Charlie calling plays with Lane giving him ideas. They both left today.

You have no offense now

I think you'll be hard pressed to find an OM super upset about that.

They shouldn't, no players were lost. if they do, they won't drop below OU at 8.

They won't drop them below OU, and shouldn't move Bama above OU.

That guy looked too old to be Charlie Weiss. I do appreciate the "frick YOU CHARLIE" tho.

The best I have seen is an Ole Miss person on twitter say that’s fine that Judge call plays he is a better play caller but has always been a special teams coach before being your QB coach lmao

He was a NFL HC too.
