Just remember anytime Notre Lame tries to take credit for this slogan, OU had it decades before them.

Man I could not give a shite about Oklahoma nor Notre Dame.
I never think about either of those schools.

If Your middle school coach was sumlin or Jimbo, then there were multiple infringement codes violated.
Gotta earn it on the field. Can’t play like a champion if you cannot even sniff your division.

I've heard some say Wilkinson brought it with him from Minnesota, but they can't find pictures to back it up.

Congrats to OU on this, despite the fact that Notre Shame leads the series w/OU, 8-2-0 (don't feel bad....ND owns Texas 9-3-0 and Alabama 5-3-0, too ---- but, not Georgia, which leads ND 3-0-0........somebody in the SEC has to!)

Yes you do. The fact you posted in this thread proves it.
I heard you want to steal and modify the slogan for US Mens soccer team.
USMNT: Play like a phag today”

To be fair, Riley is gone now and it takes time to power wash off the stench.
We’ll make our presence known this year. 2025 is when it will really be known.

Ok, since you bought popcorn:
May 2, 1928 | A funeral is held for Mex the Dog, who served as the OU mascot from 1919-28 and wore a red sweater with a white letter 'O' on the side. Old Mex was so beloved that the university closed for his funeral. He was buried in a small casket under the existing stadium.

Old Mex was succeeded by Ruf-Tuf, a bulldog who served as mascot for three football seasons starting in the fall of 1928.
Boomer, a brindle pup more nimble and adept at mascot tricks, came along in 1929.

Nice.
Who doesn’t love a pup?
Enjoy the games from a better place, Old Mex, Ruf-Tuf, and Boomer.
