I figured I'd mix up a little since I've done the whole "McElroy and Jackson" thing about twenty times the last two weeks...that answer hasn't sunk in yet, so maybe Brett Favre will.

It doesn't matter anyway. Anybody can close their eyes and throw a deep ball to Julio Jones.

First off congrats to Bama fans and the team for a great season. You ran into a UF team that is prob the best in the country, but for the first time in awhile your future looks very bright.

Secondly LSU fans ( and im speaking to myself also ) dont talk shite about next year and dont try to demean the accomplishments of other teams. Other teams do this and we are better than other teams. Dont stoop to their level.

Thirdly, Auburn fans can go to hell

2008 Alabama team will be remembered as the only SEC team to go undefeated and not win the championship. Any way you spin it, its not such a great thing to be remembered for.

They actually get to join the '94 Alabama team with that honor.

I don't know if Bama choked as much as Florida just took charge. Tebow was on his game. Bama made a couple of mistakes, but bottom line is the best team won.

It's tragic AlaTiger had his feelings hurt if some Bama fans said Miles was winning with Saban's recruits. I've seen this brought up by more LSU fans than Bama fans. Hey, I'm thankful for all the Shula recruits we have.

Back in August, if someone had posted Bama would have a 10-2 or 11-1 regular season, they would have been written off as a delusional gump. Now since we're not out on a ledge because we lost a game, I guess we're not delusional enough.

LSU fans are unbelievable. We went 12-1 with probably the least amount of talent we will field over the next 5-6 years. We are headed to the Sugar Bowl with the chance to win 13 games when nobody thought we would win more than 8. LSU on the other hand lost 5 games in a "down" SEC, had a losing conference record, and 4 of their 7 wins came against 2aa App St, North Texas, Tulane, and the signature win of the year Troy. You guys beat MSU (4-8), AU (5-7), and Scar (7-5).

Exactly what gives you the right to belittle Alabama's success? Other than being jealous, bitter, angry losers? The only team in America that should be trashing Saban and Bama is Florida.

What gives me the right?

Um, I think I have the same right that Bama fans have had to diminish LSU's success over the past few years by constantly finding fault with us, even though we beat you 5 straight times and won a national championship last year.

Are my feelings hurt? No. I don't have feelings when it comes to stuff like this. Its just a game, not real life. But, the fact that you went 12-0 with nothing to show for it should be noted.

I don't expect anyone to jump off a ledge, but I promise you that if LSU were undefeated and were leading Florida going into the 4th and we gained 1 yard and gave up 14 points, Bama fans would be on here saying that Saban would never let that happen. And, there would be LSU fans agreeing.

Reality is a good thing. It keeps you focused and clearheaded so that you can praise what is worthy in your adversaries and criticze what is wrong with yourself.

I think this might have been a historically epic choke job by Saban.

Losing to a top 5 team (probably the eventual NC) is a choke job?

Whatever makes you feel better about your 7-5 season! I'll take the sugar bowl and 12-1 after what we had last year.

Really dude, you sound like your pouting, at least to me. I'm sorry if some mean ol' Bama fans would be in here to mistreat you. Just remember this:

Branches and geological petrifications,
Might fracture my skeletal structure.
But words, however specious...
Can never cause harm to any great degree.

But anyway, LSU fans started it.

Whatever. Alabama fans should be proud of the team this year. They had a great season.

Auburn is in turmoil. Another reason for them to be happy.

I guess when your 7-5 (when the SEC is down), this is all you have to be happy about.

I guess when you suck arse for a decade one season let's you feel how great it is to be a tiger. We also get to see how much it sucks arse to be a gump this year. That is all.

By the way, we have the #2 recruiting class coming in. Some say it will be #1 if we get who we think we are going to get. We aren't going anywhere. And, I'm not laughing.
Remember this alatiger. This year's team will be the least talented team Nick Saban ever fields at Alabama. EVER.

Tuck,

I promise you that LSU fans know far more about Lord Saban than you do at this point. We know that he is a great coach. But, him having great talent means little in the vast scheme of things. See 2004 as a perfect example. That team was incredibly talented, yet lost 3 games because we did not have a solid QB.

Also, the most explosive offense Saban had at LSU was in 2001 with a bunch of Dinardo recruits. That was Saban's second year. With more talent later, the Davey-Reed combination was never duplicated.

My point is just this: there is no guarantee that you'll get as close to the NC game as you did this year, even under Saban. LSU fans should realize this as well. Again, with more talent than anyone in the country and playing in a weak conference, USC fails every year.

I don't doubt that you know Saban pretty well as a coach. However, a fatal flaw in alot of LSU arguments is comparing Bama to past LSU teams. There is no doubt yall have had a superior team for most all this decade. Having said that, Bama has an attitude of we will be back, and we will compete. When you believe it every year, no matter what, you make things happen eventually, especially when the good players start coming.

bullshite! I'm going to laugh at you because your avatar looks like it has a dick growing out of it's forehead?......That picture is priceless. Who the hell is that? Is that little Nicky?

Congrats on a very good year. As usual the SEC had more than one very good team this year. Again, one of those SEC teams will be in the NC title game. CONGRATS BAMA, BEAT UTAH, GO FLORIDA, BEAT OU.

Please show up against GT. If we show, we will spank that arse if not we will get that arse spanked

Thats right, Bama is not a conference champ. Florida is the conference champ. Too bad, 12 wins and not even a ribbon to show for it. Saban won a lot of games but he choked on the big one. Saban is a choker. He will choke again next year. Bad Karma is following Saban...he should not break contracts. Bama will become a perinnial hard luck story as long as Saban remains the coach.
