The vast majority of this board let out a collective, “Who?” when Sam Pittman’s name was mentioned in connection with the Arkansas job.

But, take a break for a few days or others will question your mental health. Say it with me slowly, "Pittboss" Breath slowly and consider the Pit is where the Linemen play, they control the Pit... He is the Boss of that pit. In a couple of years we will have one of the best Oline and Dlines in the SEC. Now, one last time .. Slowly... "Pittboss" There ya go buddy, proud of ya.

Every school in the SEC has a great position coach that can recruit. The difference is you picked one to be your head coach with no head coaching experience. Arky, you are the Cleveland Browns of the SEC.

Everyone in the football world knows Pittman. That's why he was able to hire a great staff.
He was the Associate HC at Georgia, as well as the best OL coach in America.
Just because you don't know him in Jorts-land, doesn't speak for the rest of the country.

Arkansas fans, ya'll are hearing the same crap LSU heard when ED O got the job. Pittman is a very solid hire, more solid than kiffin or leach, imho. I don't know how much he can do considering the power in this division and conference, but ya'll should be very respectable.

Tennessee did something similar. Hired an oline coach to be head coach. Did pretty well. Guy named Fulmer
