Is there a dumber, self-applied nickname for a head football coach than this?

Arkie: quit trying to polish the turd. You made the worst hire of the offseason. State waited until nearly baseball season to hire a football coach and still outdid you.

Good luck this year. You’re going to need it.

I imagine this is one of those folks that just learned about Pittman so they think this is some new thing we created.

Everyone just learned about Pittman. Unless you were an O lineman at Georgia.

He was the highest paid at his position in college football, has been associate head coach at 3 different programs and was named one of the top 5 recruiters in the nation.

SEC fans should know who he is if they follow the conference even a little bit.

The nickname has been used on the Recruiting Board and GSB hundreds of times over the last several years.

Always the bridesmaid. There’s got to be a reason. Arkie acts like it found buried treasure.

But never on the main board. Not a mention.

But most every other quality coordinator-or even the elite position coaches-are known on the main board.

I’ve been asked to run several Forbes 500 companies. I just don’t think I’m ready.

You can hate on the man all you want. and yes, he has an uphill battle here. It is what it is.

I think after media days some of you folks will come around after you actually see the man speak.

I promise you PitBoss has been used on the main board and it’s stupid to say you know for sure it hasn’t.

He coached at Georgia for a bit. Stands to reason.

The rest of us? Never heard of the guy.
