Les Miles came to my school to recruit one of our best players who is currently still in the NFL.
Even though he was getting "roll tide" and "war eagle" shouted at him in our lobby, he still had fun and told us "you guys would be better off in purple and gold."
Fun era.

My formative years. Bebes… It seems like yesterday I was on the floor looking through the Alabama Football Media guide and the New Lindy’s reading about Pat Dye’s defending SEC Champs and hoping Coach could bring us back…(even though we were technically co-champs the year before)
