LOL KJ one of the Top Qbs in the nation with actual stats to back it up, he was injured last year and still produced numbers. Hell in 21' he went toe to toe with Bama's Heisman QB at bama, going for 323yds, threw tuddies and no interceptions. KJ is a 3k plus yard qb with 27-30 tds and probably 3-4 interceptions this year.

LSU, come on Daniels has been good but not quiet KJ yet.

You may want to check the numbers again.

Yeah, and he proved the doubters wrong. I think at this point he is a pretty safe bet headed into 2023. He probably won't be as good as Hendon accuracy wise but we shouldn't fall off too much imo. I would like to see him tuck his head and take off a little more though as well after plays break down. Guy is a beast and can truck defenders if he wants.

Just remember, Phil Steele predicted Bama to win and LSU to finish last in the SEC West last season.

My take is that neither of you think the other QB is as good as your QB because the other team's QB has not looked that great when playing your team. JMO.

You guys last year were claiming KJ was better and would have a better season than Hendon Hooker. Fail.

"most physically talented QB in college football..." ??
Uh, that statement is strongly debatable. If we're going just by pure physical talent, Brock Vandagriff is a specimen. Has was clocked at 4.6 in the 40 in HS and when he was a senior in HS he put up a 315 lb power clean. Not bad numbers for a school kid. I haven't seen his numbers these days but he's had a couple of years in the S&C program, so I bet they're pretty impressive for a QB.

Why the name change? Did you spurn Lorena Gallo, formerly Bobbitt?

I’m curious as to what criteria were used in this list.

Returning starts is decent but can be misleading that’s to the transfer portal as not all starts are going to be in the same systems.

For the Vols:
Pros
Both scholarship QBs are likely drafted by round 3
Both scholarship QBs have the measurables and arm talent to be very successful
Milton is a 6th year guy going into his 3rd year in this system
The system is very QB friendly with all the pieces to make a QB successful

Cons
Only 1 guy with college snaps
Only 2 scholarship QBs

I could see docking them points for a lack of experienced depth, no true returning starter, and only 2 scholarship QBs on the roster.

A school with a true returning starter and 3 experienced QBs with multiple years in system would be ahead of them.

My honest opinion is this just based on the overall look of it:

The play and experience of your starting QB is the main thing here and trumps every thing else by a wide margin.

If he liked your QB coming out of HS, he had a few good games starting last year, then he's gonna like that guy.

So I think he believes Joe is a better QB than Daniels.

I think the backup QBs are just a tiebreaker if he's got two guys that close.

In other words, USC could have two walk ons backing up Caleb Williams and they'd still be number one.

Yall gonna be shocked when Beck emerges as a top qb in the SEC if not the top qb. UGA might be blowing out fools so bad they implement the rushing attack after the 2nd quarter. So if that is the case, Beck might not make it that far based on stats, but on the field will show he is elite.

I think there is a possibility that he could be great. Certainly has an NFL arm. I do think it would be wise to slow the roll a little bit. Beck was handed the keys before UAB in 2021. Georgia liked the way he looked in practice up to that point. The coaching staff basically made Stetson QB 4 and gave both Beck and BV more meaningful practice reps. When Beck looked awful in practice for a couple of days, Stetson was put in and a star was born. But let's not forget, Beck literally had no competition when JTD went down and couldn't hack it in game prep. He admits this and I give him credit for it and says he's ready now. I do like that he looked great on G Day which is more pressure from an atmosphere standpoint than a normal practice.

You think Beck can replace Stetson? I seriously have my doubts. Most hyped up UGA QBs end up dissapointing it seems.

I think he just didn’t want to pass up a good opportunity to use that gif. It was kind of perfect, but your post is good, even if we don’t all agree with the rankings.

That's a weird statement.

Eason won the job after his first game. Made one of the most clutch throws (not a hail mary that his WR high pointed) I've ever seen in the final seconds of a game. Transferred to Washington and did enough to get drafted and carry a clipboard in the NFL for a while.

People were hyping Fromm from the minute he signed and through both spring and fall practice. Freshman year, led us to the NCG. Sophomore year had Bama on the ropes in Atlanta. Junior year, finished number 4 in the rankings without much help at WR and soso play from the OL.

Fields transferred because of Fromm. Went on to be a Heisman finalist and first round pick.

Daniels transferred in and never lost a start. Got injured and the guy who replaced him won four playoff MVP trophies and two national titles.

Going back to Richt, the most hyped QBs he recruited and signed were Stafford, Shockley and Aaron Murray in that order. Stafford QB'd Richts best team final poll position wise. Shockley started one season playing behind David Greene and won the SEC. Murray holds most of the SEC all-time passing records and probably got Georgia closest to a national title of anyone in the Richt era.

Stetson was better than all of them imo. Give me a QB who plays his best in crunch time with everything on the line over the 5 star wonders. And my statement was more about recent UGA QBs, Fromm and Eason. I felt like UGA performed well in spite of them not because of them. Losing Fields was an obvious miss by Kirby.
