It'll be 1-1 if UGA makes it to Atlanta this year.

And you predicted UGA to be winning 35-10 at halftime last season.

Forgive me for laughing to myself.

As a matter of fact, in the last couple of years, Day does suck...when he plays a team with a pulse, like Michigan and UGA, that is.

LSU would have a much higher chance of winning if the game was earlier in this season. They still don't have the depth needed to be at full strength at the end of the season, even though it is better than last year when they completely ran out of steam the last month, after beating Alabama.

You mean to tell me that you didn't accurately predict that UGA would be up 35-10 last year?

I'm shocked.
Shocked I say.

Gonna need specifics.

Where is LSU lacking depth?

Oh, they have depth. But UGA's second stringers are better than LSU's starters, so what do expect your 2nd or 3rd stringers are gonna be able to do against us?

You had no opinion prior to the SECCG.

But in July, you know how December is going to go.

Got it.

Well, your OL had true freshman starting last year, so one assumes their backup will be less talented older guys or also true freshmen this year. Getting Maason Smith back definitely helps the DL, but there is pretty much just youth behind the starters.

The LSU tackles impressed the hell out of me in the SECCG.

They lost reps on the obvious passing downs.

But if they were able to stay on schedule with down and distance, those freshmen played elite football. Those are promising, promising athletes.

Eh, we got a good bit of transfer help. Our biggest weakness will be our secondary again but Georgia's passing offense doesn't exactly scare me this year. The clear advantage for LSU at QB and DL would make it hard for me to pick against them. Would be a good game for sure though.

If you believe that you should load up on LSU at +470 to win the SECC. Georgia is +260 to win the NC.

Your prediction could happen, the odds don’t favor it, but go on and get paid for your foreknowledge.

Oh, man, you should be scared. I put this hot take out a few months ago, and I will stand by it now. I think this year's offense will be the deepest it has ever been under Smart. Beck will have his growing pains, but given the way the schedule worked out, all the QBs should be getting work ingame in September as well as possibly October. Beck doesn't have the quicks of a Bennett, but he may not need it with this OL, even with losing some stalwarts, mainly due to the quick passing and screen game UGA will continue to utilize.

I think the defense will also be deeper this year, especially on EDGE and LBer, even losing a superstar like Carter and the experience of Ringo and Smith. There will be better depth in the secondary than there was last year.

I think the reason UGA can take so many this class is because a whole lot of players are going to be declaring for the draft again next year.

Then they should probably start, because starters are better than Georgia's.

Oh, they've got backups, and those freshmen are sophomores now and they're badasses.

Nope. Front 4 is stacked with veteran P5 depth.
