ESPN however, will tell us that we were crazy for getting rid of Harsin in year two even though the entire team staged a mutiny during the off season. Harsin did an interview recently and deferred 90% of the blame to administrators and fans. He even spoke about the Pandemic like every other coach didn't have to deal with similar restrictions. He forgot to mention that he refused to listen to derek Mason and guys who had coached in the SEC because of arrogance and his inflated sence of importance. We now have a guy who puts us at a level playing field for the first time in like 6 seasons and it feels damn good.

Auburn is easier to sell than Ole Miss and for Auburn - Freeze is the perfect salesman. He will recruit well and win. Alabama fans who aren’t absolute homers know this.

He'll have Auburn ranked somewhere between 8-15 in recruiting, which Gus Malzahn and Gene Chizik were able to do.
However, he won't win.
Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and TAM will continue stomping Auburn.
Auburn will be able to beat Arkansas, MSU, and MAYBE Ole Miss
Freeze isn't a bad coach by any means, but not bad doesn't cut it in the SEC anymore. To compete for SEC titles, your coach and recruiting has to be elite

Freeze is different than Gus or Chiz. Hell even Tuberville. He knows how to sell the program better than any of those three and his “aw shucks” schtick works better than anything they had to offer.
He won at Ole Miss and beating Alabama back to back during that stretch was damn impressive. Give the man credit, he’s won everywhere he’s been and that won’t change at Auburn.
