quote:lol as if that wasn’t the Birmingham office finding a way to let Bama off easy so they didn’t have to play Tennessee Auburn and LSU every year
I see the LSU Athletic Department was successful in their efforts to run away from playing Bama annually.

Rivalry week and LSU-Arky should make its return.
Needs to be Friday also. Always liked playing day after Thanksgiving when there were not a ton of games on.

LSU and State makes sense, but Oklahoma instead of Arkansas is just odd.

This is what happens to college football and the traditions when it becomes like the professional level. Money is killing the things that made college football great.

Tenn made out like bandits. Auburn's fricked.

And as soon as Clark Lea is hired out from there and Pavia is done with his 10 years of college football, this will go back to being an automatic "W" on the schedule. Congratulations and I wouldn't apologize for it either! LOL!

Would rather have USC over A&M, but meh. I'll deal with it for 4 years.

i'd be willing to trade Kentucky for LSU regardless what the record has been for the past decade.

No more Bama-LSU.
Hate this new world of college football. Killing traditions that built the sport right and left
These statements are in contrast to each other. You got by FAR your 3 most historical/traditional rivals, including the closest proximity game in the entire league. Bama/LSU is a johnny come lately rivalry simply due to 1)both being in the west and 2)both being really good over the last 15 years.
UF and UT in the 90s were what bama/lsu is now but that went away too. Honestly I think they pretty much went all-in on presrevin ghistory/tradition with these picks so I'm all in favor of it.

we get 0 from the remaining 5 of the big 6
LSU is the only big 6 that doesn’t have a big 6 opponent as a permanent

No Auburn, no Florida and no Bama for LSU. List is absolute shite.
Posted on 9/22/25 at 9:34 am to Mstate
So LSU is the only original SEC team who gets two expansion teams and one original SEC team. Great.
