No one ever had a bad word to say about Dave Hart while he was Alabama's assistant AD. If Dooley is anything like Saban, I would imagine Hart and Dooley get along.

me too. Good info ok so we can rule out Dooley.

Nobody mentioned Franklin. He kinda acts like the type to not get along with an AD.

I thought Franklin, but SBB says its high profile. Honestly, its probably noone. I can see Spurrier as he is getting up in age, but even that is pushing it.

SBB is usually pretty accurate right?

Well technically Vandy does not have an AD either.

Accurate is posting altered "information".

If it were a big 6 coach then it would be put alot better than "High Profile", I think.
Its not
Les
Saban
Chizik
Petrino
Nutt
Dooley
Richt
Could be
Joker, fans hate him but I think the AD just does not give a shite.
Mullen, who knows been kinda quiet over there
Champ, would be a bad situation.
Spurrier, would think it would be retiring not quiting
Franklin, does not fit the bill as high profile technically but he really has turned it around better than most would have thought. I couldn't tell you the name of the last Vandy coach or any Vandy coach for that matter. But I have been keeping up with him.

I read somewhere recently that Miles and Alleva were not getting along and that they were crossways on the recent player suspensions. Miles was furious that the leak about the suspensions apparently came from Alleva's office. He doesn't seem the kind to walk away though...

Mullen and Miss. St. AD Scott Stricklin conversation after Kentucky game:
Strick: Dan, you really need to tone down all this "grinding" and "our state" talk. It's time to start winning some games.
Dan: What?! I've been here three years and I've beaten Ole Miss twice and Kentucky. All I do is win!
Strick: We were a top 25 team in the preseason, and now we're 1-4 in the conference and looked like a big heaping pile of crap against UAB. What happened?
Dan: Well, LSU was good. And Auburn paid Cam. We were gonna be good. But I'll tell ya what, Scott, we're going to win a championship here. It may be next year, it may be 15 years from how. But we'll win one.
Strick: (rolls his eyes) Dan, who have you beaten in our own division other than Ole Miss?
Dan: Well, uh,... there was Florida last year at their place. And Georg...
Strick: I said our own division. Not the conference.
Dan: I'm getting there. Don't rush me. Um... oh dang, I'm 0-10 so far against everybody else. Ain't that something? But lemme tell you, Scott, we are...
Strick: Like I said, shut up and start winning. You're embarrassing this institution.
Dan: Don't tell me to shut up! This is my program. I run this, and we're grinding, son!
Strick: (face turns red) I can't take it anymore! You're fired!!
Dan: (chuckles) You ain't firing me. I'm the best thing that's ever happened to college football. Just ask Miami. They know what's up. I'll resign before I get fired. And when the rumors start flying, you'll know where they came from.
(grinds as he walks out of the office...)

There has been ALOT of talk about the NFL wanting Miles.
Either i just don't see that happening though or I'm pretending to not see it happening

I might just be me, but every time I saw Spurrier's comments on Garcia's dismissal from the team he sounded like it was not his decision and that he still wanted him on the team. He has butted head with their AD before, and you got to think having 4-5 loss seasons almost every year when he was use to dominating at Florida has got to be wearing on him.

No one has guessed Mike Sherman yet?
And I can see a possible angle from Mullen trying to get out of MSU for another job.

Wow that's something no one brought up. That now seems like the obvious choice. They just put an out clause in his contract.

If it was Petrino he would be gone already just he did to Hotlanta.
Posted on 11/2/11 at 5:02 am to CerealKilla
You can scratch Joker off that list. Not only is he not high profile but his AD is giving him reach around at this point to "support" his shitty coaching endeavors. frick.

You really consider Sherman a HIGH-PROFILE coach?

Ole Ball Coach was first that came to mind.
Agreement on that. He's been butting heads with his AD at USC for a while.
