I mean if I am going to be an alum from either school. Absolutely UGA. Get to go back to Athens. Much better academic institution. Not an ag school

Go look up the amount of times we have been penalized. THen look up Auburn. The times that we have dominated CFB are the times when we have had arguably the best coach in CFB. I'd say that we win becasue of that. Auburn's most recent natty was the result of a lameduck HC and the very suspect recruitment of Cam Newton.

Yet bammer is the only football program in the country that has had a booster convicted in federal court and sentenced to serve time in prison for paying players. This booster was close friends with many bammer coaches, including being close friends and drinking buddies with bear Bryant himself. Drunk Bryant Jr largely is still allowed to run bammer today just because his drunk of father had so much success as a football coach
I was referring more to the meddling within all parts of the University. We did have a booster invovled with strictly recruiting and he was dealt with accordingly...

It might not be an ag school but Athens is in the heart of farm land and field crops.

I would say, UGA used to be an AG school and still is to some extent but the admins are trying to move it towards a science and medicine focus. UGA got an engineering school 3 years ago and will be getting a full fledged medical school soon.

wow i did not know that.
Alabama has expanded its engineering programs almost 5 fold over the last 10 years.
Currently the BOT are trying to shut down all UAB sports programs so that we can re-brand the Birmingham campus as University of Alabama Medical school.
