Don't worry, not a snitch.
I could be sitting on a copy of a signed check from a bama booster to a player and wouldn't do anything with it. Maybe wipe my arse if I ran out of toilet paper, but that is about it.

I've never seen an Alabama player with a corvette, and I was in school there during pat white's career. It used to be everyone had a F150 and now it's become mostly dodges. I don't think that staff woulda got that kid a corvette. Who woulda hooked him up with it? Coach Cheese? fricking Dave Radar? You think Joe Kines was offering him a vette?

This article states that Pat White had an offer from Alabama, as well as Auburn.
I read somewhere that Bama didn't offer until January before NSD. Rivals doesn't even list the Bama offer. In any case his choices came down to LSU and WVU. He committed to LSU late in the process on January 26 only to flip to WVU on February 4.
I'm not skeptical that Bama cheats. I'm skeptical that it happened in this case to the extreme that he is claiming. If this kid was enough of a priority to offer a Corvette, why didn't we offer him a scholarship earlier than a month before NSD? Plus staring down the barrel of the gun and almost receiving the death penalty was fresh on our minds . I highly doubt that our program would be that brazen so soon after that arse kicking we received from the NCAA. The only way that I could see this going down would be a rogue booster in his hometown.
Another random tidbit I found interesting about his recruitment:
