What position is Lindsey Scott gonna play?

Maybe I just odn't keep up with recruiting as much, but I have honestly never even heard of that QB who is supposedly their POY. Also I find it odd they list four "athletes", none of which are mecole hardman or demetrius robertson.
And ben davis isn't one of the 4 best LBs?

Surprised to see Mack Wilson over Ben Davis.

Yeah I had a question about the "ATH" depiction as well. Both Carolina players were QB's in high school, one was recruited as RB and the other an Elite 11 QB. Not sure why they are "ATH's" here.

15 of the 53 are SEC bound.
About SC's All Americans:
QB/ATH Brandon McIlwain is an Elite 11 QB who was the Elite 11 SemiFinals MVP. He is a dual threat QB and a 2 sport star. A US Army All American (Football) AND Under Armor All American Baseball Player, McIlwain turned down a potential $7Figure MLB signing bonus to play college ball at SC. He was projected to go in the 1st Rd of this year's MLB draft. He will play both football and baseball at SC. In his 1st scrimmage weekend at SC, he hit 2 HR's. He accounted for nearly 40 TD's this season and over 2000 passing and over 1000 rushing yards.
ATH Rico Dowdle was the absolute steal of the Gamecocks recruiting class. He played QB in HS. This season he had over 1200 yds passing, 10 passing TD's, over 2300 yds rushing, 48 rushing TD's, and 55 yds receiving and 1 receiving TD, and another kick return for a TD, for a total of 60 TD's.

Did Michael Strahan make all the selections or just the QB?

The PARADE editors decide who is on their watch list, then it's a group of people (Strahan included) who vote/cast ballots and the results are tallied.

Why is Lindsey Scott listed as an athlete? He's 100% QB

Me either. Looks like he signed with UNC: LINK
He was 311th player in 247's national composite rankings, and the 8th dual threat QB.

That midget QB won't last 3 weeks in SEC play. He's to small.

So 6 of the 7 kids went to schools in the West.
And the only school in the East to sign a Parade AA.... South Carolina.
