I just don't see how this improves the PAC-12, logistical nightmares aside.

In an appearance before the Texas Senate on Tuesday, Bowlsby raised the possibility of the Big 12 partnering or merging with another conference and, at Pac-12 media day last week, Kliavkoff told ESPN he wouldn't rule on a scheduling alliance with another conference or expansion.

PAC-12 not seeking new schools, but would listen

"We're, on purpose, not reaching out and trying to poach any schools, but my phone has blown up -- absolutely blown up over the last five days," Kliavkoff said. "And I've got lots and lots of calls from probably every school you would imagine and probably a few you'd be surprised by. We're listening to all inbound inquiries, because it seems like the smart thing to do."

Sounds like Texas A&M wants out!

They’re both Way better destinations for a CFB weekend than Lubbock, TX; Waco, TX; Aimes, IA; Manhattan, KS; Stillwater, OK, etc

West Virginia To the ACC with Norte Dame
Texas Tech and Ok St to the PAC
Kansas and ISU to the Big 10

The rest to the AAC. Everyone is now at 16 and things move forward

If it actually played out this way, the SEC won by a mile in the last two rounds of the expansion game.

SEC: Texas A&M, Mizzou, Texas, Oklahoma
PAC: Colorado, Utah, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State
ACC: (lost Maryland), Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Louisville, West Virginia
B1G: Nebraska, Maryland, Rutgers, Kansas, Iowa State

I also think it is extremely unlikely that ND joins the ACC as a full member.

Sucks we had to take Mizzou, though. Could have been worse, I guess.

Can we send the sips with them and only take OU and VTech?

It's where the sips really want to be anyway, so they can rub shoulders with other commie leftists.

Clearly the PAC-12 will listen but it won’t financially matter.

Mizz would have been the perfect match to go with Iowa st, k-state and kansas in the mountain west.

Terrible for West Virginia

They should honestly jump to the ACC and Iowa State go to the B10 then the rest of the B12 go to the Pac12

wouldn't take all of them. I'd only want Baylor, Tech, TCU, and Oklahoma State. Even then, the PAC 12 has a very ominous future.

The PAC 12 has shown zero interest in adding religious schools but maybe they've changed their tune.

B12 should try to steal a couple of the football schools like Oregon, Az, ASU, USC, Stanford and let the rest of the PAC lose its power conference status. It’s a weak conference anyways
