USC is good and even oregon, everyone else sucks.

UCLA lost to the BYU Cougars (0-59)?

15 Arizona State lost to the UNLV Rebels?

I just read this:

quote:

USC's Pac-10 brethren went 2-7 this past weekend. That includes Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford and UCLA going 0-4 against the Mountain West Conference, Washington State getting trampled by perennial Big 12 doormat Baylor and California falling to Maryland, which was coming off a loss to Middle Tennessee State.

Pac Ten is crap but USC showed why they are the #1 team in the nation and Ore picked up a good win as well. I'm real disappointed in ASU. They were my sleeper.

Pac Ten:

vs. all: 10-10
vs. top 25 at time played: 2-4
vs. current top 25: 1-4
vs. BCS: 5-5
vs. non-BCS FBS: 4-5
vs. non-FBS: 1-0

SEC:

vs. all: 23-3
vs. top 25 at time played: 1-1
vs. current top 25: 1-1
vs. BCS: 4-2
vs. non-BCS FBS: 13-1
vs. non-FBS: 6-0

Note: Notre Dame counted as BCS school.

I am not sure yet how strong the SEC really is given that no one has looked like a truly great team thus far, but I think it is safe to say that the Pac 10 will not challenge the SEC this year. Only one conference is in a position to do this year, and that's the Big 12.

if the pac 10 wanted to expand to 12 teams i think they should ask byu to join.

BYU is the truth. Harvey Unga will just truck fools like it's cool. Fui Vakapuna ain't no joke either.

His name is a little funny though, especially if he'd been from Hong Kong.

BYU and Utah would make by far the most sense considering they are close, both pretty good at a number of sports, which is big in the pac-10, pretty solid academically, and would keep the interstate rivalries in the Pac-10 which each team has.

Pac-10 South- USC, UCLA, ASU, UofA, Utah, Byu
Pac-10 North- Oregon, OSU, Cal, Stanford, Wazzu, UW

If that Pac-10 is every going to expand that would make by far the most sense. Boise would be okay, but they can't compete in any other sport outside of football and don't have the academics to meet the other Pac-10 schools (outside of ASU)

it was a bad week for out of conference games, and as I have researched the worst since the 1960's. However, hold on a bit for the season is young.

To bring this up to the 9/15 AP Rankings.

LSU Plays (3)Georgia, (4)Florida, (9)Auburn and (10)Alabama

USC Plays(ed) (13) Ohio State (17) Oregon
