Everyone that says Oxford sucks (for various reasons) is semi-right. The bars close early and the bouncers are douchers. Athens bars are way better among other places.

But seriously, Oxford is OK, I like the bars. However, nights like tonight make me hate it. I got kicked out of a bar 30 minutes early. I mean come on..

Yeah, 30 minutes is a big deal especially when someone takes your drink 30 seconds after you buy it.

Some of us can close the deal before midnight unlike some people. The bars closing early is a plus.

I don't. It sucks and I hate it. But the town itself is not crappy and to say so is just not accurate. If it were up to me, I would settle down and raise a family here.
