Rose colored glasses off! Who is the most over-hyped or overrated person on your team?

Overhyped probably Nix as of now because he has had very ok numbers.
Most underhyped I'd go with KJ Britt

the hype was warranted last year due to a phenomenal year, but delpit is definitely not living up to the hype so far this season. hopefully he gets it going

Nah, for a true freshman those numbers suggest he’ll be at Burrow-level after 3 or 4 years.

Darrell Taylor. Had a really good season last year and was talked about as a possible early second day draft pick next spring. He’s done next to nothing this season.

Joke’s on all you sorry bastards.
We got nobody worth hyping in the first place.

I would have to say Najee Harriss he has shown some flashes here and there of just how good he can be, and our struggling running game may not be his fault. But I expected 2 or 3 times the amount of yards rushing he has so far.

Of course he’s dog shite. Hence why he’s overhyped. He hyped up as a recruit and freshman.

Delpit isn't the anchor of a team, but he's a glue-guy. Need him to Blitz? There. Support LB's? Done. Cover the slot? Deep third? Spy? He'll do it.
He can do so many things and fill so many holes that he shines as a complimentary piece, not a centerpiece of a D. And he's smart.
I think he has a long pro career waiting for him.

I think teams are trying to avoid him. And he has been playing not to get hurt and almost seems surprised when a play comes his way

None that I can think of for LSU. Maybe Moss - but his hype is mainly from being Randy’s son. Plus LSU has a lot of weapons so getting him the ball is tough. I think he’ll be solid though.
Non LSU:
Bo Nix has been worse than LSU quarterbacks pre Joey Burrell. I get it though, he’s a freshmen starter at a big school on a solid team. But I think they’ll lose a few games because of him.
Another would be Terrell Lewis. Now he has been unlucky with injuries, which isn’t his fault. But he was labeled as the next Lawrence Taylor and I’m not sure why. I’ve watched him when healthy, I just don’t see much there.

Probably Marco Wilson right now though he is improving

Tyler Shelvin and Siaki Ika.
Two five star DTs who ate themselves out of significant playing time.
Damn shame, IMO.
For Alabama, I'd say Brian Robinson. Most of us expected him to shine behind Najee Harris and he's dancing way too much.

He was for a while. He was out of shape. But he’s starting to become a force up front. He demands a double team.
Ika was viewed as a backup coming in to the year by most - which is where’s he’s at - so I can’t say he was overhyped.

I'd say he is under-rated the way Alabama fans act towards him despite putting up good numbers constantly and being a big factor in the passing game.
