He’s been an assistant coach there for 24 years. If his player wasn’t dosing off in film study, he wouldn’t have read it.

That’s actually a kick to the nuts. Most of you don’t know this, but Cale is one of the best recruiters in college football, maybe college football history. Played a major roll in getting guys like Adrian Peterson. He’s turned down larger rolls to be a lifer at OU.
He’s a solid dude, and was pretty much universally liked. What a trash way to go out.

The scoop is he asked a player to take notes and when he didn’t he went to look at his phone and read what was on his phone outloud. It contained things he should not of said and it was racist I think . All the black players in the room told him it was okay. Two different stories is he reigned because he felt t was best for the team . Someone else said it was reported to the university and even though the team told him it was okay since it wasn’t something he wrote the university told him to resign. Who really knows but he was a fan fav coach and played there in the 80s. Brent seemed dejected for OUs media day he must of knwon for a week.

Sooo all the players were cool with it but someone told someone at the University? Why did it ever leave the meeting room if everyone was cool with it?
