What is with that Michigan accent is Jim Henson from Michigan because you all sound like Muppet's?

quote:

So, you Oklahomo people tidy up your double-wides, snuggle up with your cattle or sheep or half-sisters, whatever

You went 1 or 3 with your take Muppet.

I was a young lad but my parents took me to the Orange Bowl and I watched my Sooners beat Michigan to win the National Title. Got to see Joe Washingtons silvers shoes in person. Still have some things I brought back from that game.

OU should win. Their performance against Illinois State really doesn’t inspire confidence.

Your performance against the Buckeyes really lacks confidence.

Week One:

Oklahoma vs FCS School = 35 - 3

Michigan vs FBS School = 34 - 17

Not impressed with Oklahoma despite the love they are receiving. After last year's 2 - 6 SEC standing, I'm from the Show Me State. They have not done anything as of late. My vibe tells me Michigan will win. With that said, I'm pulling for my rookie SEC brethren against Michigan.

One’s a top 5 defense. The other is a FCS team.

How do you know they're a top 5 defense after one game?

Nah, you guys are losing by three scores. Underwood throws a pick and fumbles.

Mateer throws for over 250 yards and 2 tds, running for another.

Illinois St. went 10-4 last year and New Mexico was 5-7 and they are worse this year. NM might win 1 more game. OU was right there at the points spread. Mateer threw for almost 400 yards. Not sure what you were looking for other than trolling a team you are 25-67 against.

This stuff is totally irrelevant. Just because app state beat Michigan one year doesn’t mean they’d be top 2 in the big 10.

Sports don’t follow the transitive property. Each game is in itself unique. The only thing you can do to gauge who is better before the fact is watching a said team and seeing how they do, regardless of the opponent.

In that case, OU is the better team today. However, we will see if that pans out into reality on Saturday.

Didn’t Ohio state lose 8 starters on defense, yet still basically shut out the Utrans offense?

Makes it a tough choice

When was the last time they statistically didn’t have a top 5 defense? Pair that with the 8 straight top 5 recruiting classes, I’d say they’re basically a lock for top 5.

If you are interested in that... you probably need to send your boys to Stillwater instead of Norman.

You do realize Illinois State finished 5th in their own FCS conference last year.

I never thought I’d see the day where OU fans were bragging about a win over them. How the mighty have fallen.
