I'm sure OK fans will be classy and wish him luck at his new destination.

In fairness no other school does...why should they? I mean we all should, but we all know it rarely happens.

I hope they end up with nothing. They’ve been tampering for years now - OU fans are only slightly worse than sips when it comes to an attitude of entitlement

Agreed, and some will leave their schools. I really kind of hate to see college football turn into this, but a lot of fans on here were bemoaning that the players were not being paid. Now that they are, those same fans will move on to ruin something else.

Expand the playoffs, because having 12 teams will make the games more interesting!

If they wanted to, they could just tell the players if they opt out of the Bowl games they forfeit their NIL money. Problem fixed. I get that that some will complain about injuries (Corral) but they are getting paid. Go get yourself an insurance policy.

Yep. The NCAA should have had regulations and rules set up to go into effect the moment the SCOTUS opinion came down on NIL but they've chosen to sit on their hands and do nothing like useless bureaucrats do.

I don't really give a shite to be honest. I'd rather we find somebody who wants to be here and slam the door shut on Mr. "Superman". I want a QB, not a celebrity. Good riddance to more Riley trash as far as I'm concerned....

We have two walk-ons on our roster that could play at Aggot or texsa. You're going to be disappointed.

This is outdated thinking. Your guy that "wants to be there" is a Stetson Bennet type guy in the best case scenario. Any QB worth a shite is going to come with a price tag today.

Don't let your circled wagons block your view of what's happening. Your coach and best players have bailed. That doesn't happen to a "destination" program that you think you are.

Riley fricked you at the worst time possible and you made a C+ hire at best. Dillon Gabriel is the best you can hope for and if you get him, it's because you paid.

No I just laugh at Arky fans grinding their sad little axes and brush it off as entirely irrelvant.

Are you fricking dumb? Venables is putting tg the best defensive staff in the country, with Todd bates who’s the best recruiter in CFB and venables being top 5 also. That’s before you consider OU us paying lebby 2 mil. Arky can’t even afford to pay a head coach what a couple OU assistants make. Riley was never going to have OU prepared for the SEC at any position other than QB, and Lebbys offenses have been better than Riley’s the past 3 years.

That requires thinking ahead. That is not in the NCAA's wheelhouse.

OU fans shouldn't waste time arguing with Arkansas and A&M fans, those programs haven't won anything of relevance in anyone's lifetime.

This is the first year Arkansas has won 9 games in almost 20 years, and A&M is a program who just forfeited their bowl game with a bogus excuse. Who cares.

Caleb is talented and his transfer will hurt, but life will move on and I'm ready for the next QB in the seat.

With Caleb's highest bidder approach, Georgia/Auburn, etc can take the reins.
