OU has great defense, terrible offense. Beat Bama because of a 90 yd int return, TN with a 70 yd fumble return and AU because the refs had their head up their azzes. Three plays from being 7-5 and in the Music City Bowl.

You should try defense and offense next.

Our offense isn’t as bad as people think nor as good as we want. Mateer was lights out early season until injury. But all this time off allows a reset. We put up the most yards on LSU than any other SEC team. We just threw INTs. Convert those passes its a whole different game. We still overcame them which is what defense can do. Get some players back from injured reserve too.

Dont care OU is 100% in and hosting! 10 win season 2nd year in SEC. Made the 12 team playoffs before Bama and Lsu. Sooners currently have the #1 class for 27. Things are pretty awesome.

We were told OU was the next Nebraska….they just forgot OU owns north Texas and recruits nationally.

I agree but I also think your defense isnt quite as good as people think.
It was very oportunistic and won the game with turnovers against Tennesse and Bama but gave up over 400 yards to each.
Also gave up over 400 yards to Ole Miss at home.
I think ND is a good draw. Your front 7 should stifle their running game and NDs young QB will see blitzes he hasnt seen before.
But after ND, I dont think your defense will be able to keep teams like UGA, IU, Ohio State, aTm, or Ole Miss under 30.

. . . were lucky to win that game
By "lucky" you mean held LSU to under 200 yards total offense while the Sooners had almost 400 yards, out first downed them 14 to 9, overcoming twice as many penalties, 8-60 versus 4-25, right?

Indiana and aTm is my bet.

And yet for the 3rd straight year isn’t in the top 8 in their own conference in recruiting

Defenses have caught up, and passed the spread offenses. Teams are winning with defense now and most offenses don’t move the ball well week to week consistently. What offense has even looked good consistently? Ohio state? Indiana? Playing nobody teams with little nfl talent. Michigan could do nothing against OU but walked through the big 10 pretty easily.

You sound sour. Sorry your team couldn’t generate at least 200 yards of total offense against OU. Pathetic.

We don't care about recruiting class rankings anymore.

OU is literally built to beat ND at everything they are good at. Similar to Missouri. Very bad matchup for ND
I am interested as to the thinking behind this silly statement. I do think its going to be a good game. But if Mateer doesn't play a lot better than he has recently, OU will not beat ND.

Ok lucky may not apply, but an unimpressive 4-point win at home (with the playoffs on the line) over a coach-less LSU team with nothing to really play for does.
