You’re in danger of becoming Arkansas. They have lived in purgatory ever since joining the SEC. I’d see if Clark Lee at Vanderbilt or the guy at Indiana might have any interest. Sadly for OU, I believe you just extended BV contract. I know you have some oil money but can you afford to buyout BV, hire a 10 mil coach and also fund your nil to compete with all the other blue bloods?

Better figure it out quickly cause the SEC is not the Big 12 or anyone else. We may be called many pejoratives , but we SEC fans are the most passionate bar none and you are now a part. Get it together OU.

You can always rehire John Blake. Ain't nowhere to go but up. Whatever you do you better fix it fast, you're swimming with sharks now. And they smell blood.

After two more thrashings they might not have a choice. With no bowl game they should have plenty of time to complete a search.

No we haven’t.

We’ve lived in purgatory since we fired Petrino.

Good points.

What a delicious thread. Thoroughly enjoyed and would read again.

OU hasn’t hit rock bottom. You’re just in an odd phase with not having your normal Oklahoma Caliber QB. You will be fine.

Texas has hit their ceiling and did it faster than I expected and will never win a national championship in the SEC, so that’s a great positive outlook for y’all being that their your rival.

Auburn has hit rock bottom. You’re not that.

You'll probably beat one of Bama or LSU, right?

Doesn't ZeroU have a running QB? That's a win over swamp kitty right there.

OU gonna turn into a new version of Nebraska/Arkansas. Something about wearing red and being from a state nobody gives a shite about.

No, football gods hate us. Prolly will have a chance in one, and then invent a new way to lose.

Be it known, OU literally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory vs. Mizzou. So they are not completely without hope. 5% chance they beat LSU. Bama? Forget about it.

It's unreal how we love to turn the ball over.

you aint at rock bottom until you end up like nebraska and hold the current longest bowless streak in the country.

Have you given up as many scoop-n-scores as Mizzou?

I've lost count.
Except for the pick six on the auburn game. I am almost certain that every game changing turnover our defense give this team, the offense either turns it over right back, or 3 and out. And on the few instances that the offense responds and takes advantage of a TO, the defense can't shut anything down to get a win. It's insane. Just a terrible football team.
