OU isn't even thinking about the rest of the SEC. BV is going to get humiliated by Texas for the 3rd time in 4 years in 2025. That will be his last game as a head coach in his career.

It has more to do with OU being bad than the SEC being good. Houston and Tulane were signs that things was no bueno in Norman.

lol Sark is 2-2 vs OU. You lose 4 O lineman, all your wide receivers, and starting a new quarterback. Good luck with that.

Meh, most people think Arch will be an upgrade. Wingo and Moore are returning WRs and hes recruited his arse off. last year was 3rd overall and the 3rd highest class in UT history. #1 this year and the highest in their history. They have like 10 five stars between the classes including 4 WRs.
Sark said he wanted to be like the Saban model where you lose 8-10 guys to the draft every year and reload. Not sure it will work but he’s got some studs on campus that can fill in.
OU was 10th in the SEC in recruiting this year and currently 15th in the portal rankings in the SEC.

Nobody is scared of OU with the methhead Venables as HC. Dude is way in over his head and OU fans defend him like he’s Saban

Let’s look into the Trophy Case at OU and then Old Miss. They are even with no SEC trophies. Different story with National Championships.

In the longer term OU will probably be consistently among the top 3 in the conference

The exact same thing happened in the other three years in the Big XII. House of fire in the non con... Below .500 in the conference.
Big XII basketball is right there with the SEC.
Football is another matter... but it didn't help that besides Auburn... OU had seven of the top eight teams in the conference. Contrast that to Texas...who besides Georgia... had seven of the eight bottom finishing teams in the conference.
