Was one of the more likable teams that I can remember. Very classy and respectful during the interviews etc. Just seem like a really good group of kids. Kudos for their parents for raising them the right way and to their coach for setting the tone.
P.S. That Cord Rager dude is HUGE

Yeah, OU and UNC was definitely drama free for the most part
Hopefully the bat flipping days are slowly dying off, at least until Vitello returns after the Giants fire him

agreed. it became easy to pull for them. I didn't pay too much attention to the regular season, but they were very easy to pull for once i started watching them play

Thanks. Good kids throughout the roster. I don't think they're ever trying to show someone up or rub it in. Good parenting and good leadership on the staff.

Classy post!
I think this stems from Skip. He’s very down to earth and personable. Nothing fake just a good guy. And I think he gets thru to the players. He genuinely cares about the players. And he brought in a lot of JUCO kids who are hungry and happy for the opportunity.

UNC coach and OU coach are like clones …. both christian men who want what’s best for their players regardless of outcomes .Both have said they are in it to develop young men.

Their season is a great sports story and I was pulling for them in the finals.

Just watched game 3 tonight and congrats to the Sooners. Hard to stay off the sports channels and websites even for a day and not catch any spoilers.

JUCO kids
It is amazing to me that there are so many good JUCO baseball players out there given that you have the MLB draft, college baseball at the University level in four divisions... and you have baseball scouts all over the place in person and on the internet.
Then you throw in the fact that JUCO baseball players are in JUCO for different reasons than football and basketball players. Most JUCO baseball players are in JUCO because simply because they were overlooked and not because they are are non qualifiers or disciplinary risks.
