Your statement was that there is no connection between donghorn U and A&M yet A&M is in your school fight song. How can there be “no connection “ but you include us in your official fight song?

When did any Aggie fan on this site ever say that donghorn was not our rival. Our school fight song is about them. Always has been, always will be. We continued to sing it even after we left the big 12. Nobody here has ever denied that.

Of course there is a connection, why else would the UT Board of Regents fund TAMU to the tune of billion$ over the years?
It's this simple, OU is Texas' primary rival in football & A&M is the main rival in every other regard. It just so happens that football is the King in Texas.
There is a level of respect towards OU that A&M does not and will never receive from Texas, which may explain the denial of a rivalry among some fans.

I think maybe many of the Texas fans on here never went to school at University of Texas. Probably why they don't know the words to the Texas fight song.

Pretty sure you are absolutely right. Every school has their share of “t-shirt “ fans. Donghorn U has a huge t-shirt fan base.
Next time you see a news report showing a bunch of illegal aliens crossing the border, look through crowd and see how many donghorn shirts, jackets and hats you can pick out of the crowd. It is usually at least 10%

Who cares who's wearing our shirts you dildo sucking moron? It's money to the athletic department just like those longhorn decals the Aggie idiots buy to put upside down on their windows. That's just more money in our pockets it's hilarious that you think that's a bad thing. You're just jealous that no one outside of college station gives a flying frick about the Aggies which is why you're on a thread about Texas and Oklahoma in the first place.

OU and Texas is a football rivalry only. It wasn't even a conference game until 1996. With the setting at the state fair, it is a unique cultural event. But, there hasn't been much bad blood since Barry Switzer retired (the Horns hated Switzer with a passion, probably with reason).
