What, will they need just 6 yards for a first down? Talk about a participation trophy. They haven't earned a spot in the CFP with only 6 games, and against mostly $hitty teams. It's unfair to the rest of the teams wanting to get in that played a full slate. Like herbskreet said during the ND/klimpson game, he didn't know if Trevor Lawrence should be considered for the heisman, because he missed 2 games for the Rony. Well, that's the same thing with OSU, and the CFP. They don't have the body of work!

How many teams would be undefeated if they could pick their best six games....

Exactly.

Lots of teams - LOTS - have at least 6 wins this year.

Safe bet that if Ohio State had played Alabama, they'd be 5-1. So significantly worse off than A&M.

I agree they don't deserve to be in, but as a Bama fan, I didn't want to hear the "if Ohio St was in the playoff" BS.

Generally, since last spring Clemson, Bama and Ohio St were considered the "best" 3 teams for 2020.

Anyway, I think Clemson will take care of Ohio St.

No one knows if OSU would get bested 52-24.

It was just a truly messed up year.

Hopefully 2021 goes back to normal and stadiums are full.

I don't think they should be in either but it's such a dog shite field this year.

If they were to win it all, would your opinion change? If the goal was to truly find the four best teams, I think it’s hard to pass on Ohio state.

tOSU is an undefeated P5 conference championship team. No way you can legitimately leave them out of the playoffs.

If an SEC team was 6-0 in 2021, they would be in the playoff.

Shut up.

tOSU had zero control of their schedule. At the end of the day they were still an undefeated P5 conference winner and because of that they earned the spot.

If an SEC team was undefeated and won the SEC would you demand they be excluded from the playoffs?

We’ll find out soon enough if they were one of the best 4 teams in the country or not

Will the committee EVER be able to keep a team out due to a weak schedule again?

I can confidently say OSU just made it with the weakest schedule that will ever make it.

Agree. However, does that mean home plate should be widened for OSU? Ask this question another way...

Should the Big 10 have a team in the playoffs? They made the scheduling decision.

A&M should be in the playoffs.

Like who?

Who should have been in over Ohio State?

No, they shouldn't.

Losing by four touchdowns should always eliminate you.

That was a a Big10 problem, not a college football problem.

Its not the committees fault, an undefeated P5 champ is in the playoffs 10 times out of 10. People need to be upset with the big 10 and their mind numbing incompetence for their entire farce of a season.

-we aren't playing! Well ok yeah we'll play
-we aren't playing til February! Muh myocarditis! Oh shite everyone else is starting in the fall? Ok fine it's safe for us to start in the fall
-you have to play a minimum number of games to make the title game! *Looks at ohio states schedule* actually scratch that nevermind
-you have to sit out a certain amount of time for covid! *Checks calendar and sees when playoffs start* actually scratch that you don't need to sit as long as we thought

It's practically criminal what they've done this season, their leadership should all be fired and potentially jailed for stupidity. We can get mad at ohio state or the playoff committee, but they aren't doing anything outside the bounds of their responsibilities. The big 10 is who really deserves the ire
