Why don’t players stop walking and look at the coach when they are getting an arse-chewing? When I played in the 1980s and 1990s, you stopped and listened until the coach was finished yelling.
Orgeron might be an idiot, but players now have bad attitudes. There’s no denying it. Coach Bryant or Coach Dye or Coach Cholly Mac, never had a player walk away from them.

I don't understand what the big deal is either. 18-22 year old men often need arse chewings and the head coach is the team's designated head arse chewer.

I am from the old school where I had coaches literally spitting through my face mask when they were yelling and cussing me up and down. And look I survived it. OP is prob the whining parent wanting all kids to get a participation trophy.

I’m fine with coaches yelling at players. But I feel like Orgeron was treating Finley unfairly. He’s a true freshman who had been getting hit on just about every play. He throws a pick six in part because his OL can’t block for shite. Instead of yelling at ALL of them, he singles out the freshman QB who got blasted by a defender right as he threw the pass.

This is the second thread you’ve made on this I believe. Your first one didn’t go your way so I’m assuming you’re just trying again.
If a D-1 QB can’t handle getting yelled at they have no business being in the position in the first place. I’m sure Finley will survive.
