Bama would have a chance

LSU's front is still pretty nasty

Lets not forget that the worst rated defense in the BCS era from the SEC to make it to a CG beat Oregon because of much bigger more physical lines

Oregon won the public a lot of money this weekend. I will be taking Tennesee on the points this weekend.

It's interesting how unstoppable Oregon's offense is against below average teams and how it fails against elite defenses.

It's actually funny how people continually year after year buy into them destroying these peasants then build them up to be best ever.

.... of course Tennessee will be one of the peasants they'll be destroying.

how many times does Oregon have to lose against physical defensive teams? when was the last time they defeated a team who plays a physical brand of football?

WKU moved the ball on Tennessee, especially on the ground, when they weren't turning it over.

Oregon will score 50+ and Vols offense is not good enough to score 21 IMO.

Disagree. I think the line is fine and lean toward taking the Vols right now. Tenn has enough offense to stay within 3 TDs. Tenn's defense sucks, but their offense is above average for sure.

I may legitimately put money on this. I'm thinking something in the neighborhood of 56-10.

I could legitimately see Tennessee getting shutout a few times this season.

oregon looked to have trouble with the run.. we have a great o-line and been running well. We will have to pound away and control the time of posession, and keep their offense off the field. Only way we can keep this from being a major blowout. our d-line/lbrs are good enough to cause some problems in their backfield. But our secondary is horrendous and will get shredded. 21.5 seems right if we can control that time of posession. We will see, it can only make us better once we reach conf play. Because we wont see a faster offense all yr.

They had Michigan and VaTech in their schedule the last two years.

This line will move at least 6 points by kickoff. Tennessee has no prayer in this game. To keep it within six touchdowns should be a victory in the eyes of all Tennessee fans.

I'm kind of starting to look forward to this one. Vols getting cocky after their wins over Austin Peay and Petrino's Pit Stop.

What are you talking about??? There aren't any Vol fans predicting a win in Eugene.

ETA: Other than the loonies, everyone has them.

So...you are saying that Oregon this year is no better than last year's 8-5 Michigan or this year's Virginia Tech team? Personally, I thought they were better than that.
