Opt-outs aside, is it possible the SEC wasn't that good?

I don’t know how anyone can look at this game and think that Florida wins this even with their players that opted out.

This isn’t remotely close

Screw that. Vandy would have put up a better fight.

Part of me wants to say yes. The other part of me is seeing the Big12 #1 beating the ever living shite out of the SEC #3 and doesn’t know what to think.

Probably those most meh it’s been since 2005. One really good team, a couple pretty good teams, a bunch of ok, and a bunch of suck.

Against ND, maybe.

Clemson and Ohio State definitely have the talent to beat Alabama and have demonstrated this fact in the recent past.

So IDK.

Yes. That’s why it’s hilarious to see Alabama fans poke out their chest with their muh all-SEC schedule

Totally bogus argument, IMO.

Not that hard to figure out that if 32 Kentucky players all the way “up” to 54 LSU players are playing, you might have a down year.

Alabama is really good but the rest of the conference isn’t.

I’ll give the league a pass this year because of COVID...but reputation took a hit.

Well half the year Georgia played with a walk on QB. So there’s that. When JT Daniels was healthy Georgia looked a lot better. But yeah. Overall it’s kind of trash this year. This year sucked

The SEC sucked this year along with the vast majority of college football teams. Bama and Clemson have the only great teams. Ohio St. has a lot of talent and could surprise Clemson on a really good day, but they have played so few games and haven't put it together, so that probably won't happen.

Agree with that assessment. Clemson vs. ND was probably the best two games all year. Trevor Lawrence is clearly the best player in CFB -- look a the difference he made. Think he might take over this playoff.

Ohio State is kind of a wild card. They could put it together. Talent is there.
