This. Way more confidence that we’d cover -8.5 against UT than -11 at SC. This is classic letdown game at the end of an absolutely brutal stretch. If SC hasn’t quit and they show up to “change their season” with a huge upset win, it will likely be a struggle win or close loss for Bama. If they’ve quit, then we probably cover the 11. Sellers is also capable of having a career night where he Superman’s his team to victory a la Stephen Garcia.

What I wonder about is the mental makeup of LSU right now after losing to Vandy. Watching Nuss on the sideline with a towel over his head crying really makes you wonder if BK has lost the team.

Bama is the first team in SEC history to win against 4 straight ranked opponents without an off week thrown in somewhere. Bama needs a bye. I’m looking for one of these win ugly type games for sure.

The Oklahoma line doesn’t surprise me. That’s a huge emotional loss in Athens and then they have to turn around and go on another long road trip for an 11 o’clock kick in a hostile environment.
Now word is coming out that lane is Florida’s number one candidate so that will be a huge distraction all week for the players
