AL.com
“Donna Frazier, the mother of Joshua Frazier, penned “An Open Letter To Alabama Recruits & Parents,” and it is eye opening and important, but also strangely accusatory. She wrote that her son “fell prey” at Alabama to “deceptive tactics used by Nick Saban and his coaches.” Framed as a damning accusation, the blog claims that Joshua Frazier’s former position coach “coerced” him “into taking Vyvanse,” which is a medication used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and allowed by the NCAA.”

100% I believe this is true

Before bammers jump down my throat, alot of coaches in alot of different sports are doing this across college

Adderal/vyvanse is basically a legal steroid for sports at the collegiate level.

Farrakhan doesn't really preach personal responsibility to his followers - it's always someone else's fault.

Wtf are you talking about? It affects memory and cognitive function and. can help weight loss but it does not improve physical performance at all.

In most cases it is a detriment to physical performance. What do most players coming out of HS need? Strength and muscle, which Adderall and Vyvanse are actually detrimental in the process.

Why in the frick would college coaches want their players taking that unless they need help in the class room? Only way it makes sense is for QBs for watching film etc.

Wasn't there like a 6 page thread about this exact same letter last week?

Then someone posted the sons reply to his Mom.

Are we really going to talk about this again?

Adderal is excellent for staying up all night to not study and to straighten up your fraternity house room and pee 27 times and do 9,786 statistic problems but not really remember or know how you did it.

I mean, so I've been told at least.

My roommate took a time released Adderall to study for an exam our freshman year. He got on Halo to "pass the time" until it kicked in.

He played Halo for 36 straight hours and missed the exam.
