It's one game. Are you 6 years old? You and your whiney buddies act like it. Whether you like it or not, CKD will be at BAMA through 2026 because of $$$. Turn off your TV, if you can't handle it, but quit posting every stupid thought that enters your head.

Agreed … it’s only one game. And it’s not like F$U doesn’t have a nil budget.

Alabama has all the ingredients… and that’s really undeniable.

Just gotta bake the cake now.

The guys on “3 Man Front” were discussing this earlier on WJOX in Bham. From what they said, if Bama fired DeBoer this season, it would bankrupt the program because they’d owe him like 90% of his contract, which translates to something like $60-70 million. And from that they said, Bama simply doesn’t have that kind of money. I was surprised to hear them say this because they’re very much pro-Bama on that show.

I agree Malzhan has been a pain in the side for Alabama.

Can’t fix soft with reset buttons. You are either soft or you ain’t soft. Looks like DeBoer and his players are the former.

This year is a wash for Bama now. Kalen is in way over his head. Just fire him at the end of the season and bite the 70 million dollar bullet (what a dumb AD to sign that btw)

Spend this season in a de facto coaching search and evaluation and go get a better coach for next year while the Bama brand still has a little shine on it.

Except the kitchen has a massive grease fire that is spreading and the chef doesn't think it's anything to worry about.

Bama should hire Orgeron. They always do well with our sloppy seconds

Gus is doing exactly what he wants. He walked away from a HC job because he was tired of being a HC in todays landscape. He also has seen that fanbase up close. Do you honestly think he would want to deal with them daily?

Painful for who?

He has a 68 million buyout. He’s got to know he can’t ever match the pre NIL era of Saban.

So he’s gonna milk it for 68 million. Just like Jimbo did.

And here’s the newsflash, there’s not a Nick Saban coming back to Bama. It’s over. Probably for a decade.

It’s over man. Learn to fish.

It was a sloppy 1st game with a first time starter against a talented roster, in a hostile environment against the Whirly Bird of Gus with his ideal type QB.

Things happen. Miscues, drops, mistackles, maybe mentally unprepared by the players looking at -13.5 and FSUs 2-10 record. Down RB1, Defensive CPT, and 3x starting OL by the 2nd half, it wasn't ideal. Yet, there were chances. I think DeBoer is a good HC.

I'll wait to see how the team reacts to this. Then, we will have a better judge of on field and off field leadership.

In any case, he is getting at least 3 years, and that would take a complete derailment to pull the trigger.

NIL is the ultimate game changer here. Even with the right coach. The field is more even now than ever across the landscape of college sports.
