Schools to win a NY6/BCS CFB Game (Since 1998) & have both their Men’s and Women’s basketball teams advance to the Sweet 16 in the same school year:

2022-23 Tennessee
2012-13 Louisville*
2010-11 Ohio State

Your experience OTR would be so much better if you would post these homer threads on the Vol board. There would be plenty of activity on there as well.

Only 3 programs since 1977 have done this:

Have two "n"s in their name finish 3rd in gymnastics, 2nd in quidditch, and 17th in bowling.

Suck it, everyone. Tennessee rules.

I gotcha, it started with basketball, then baseball then football. So really it was all 2005 other than the football natty game.

Missing the lady’s. This is about both basketball teams and football team. Which again Texas didn’t qualify.

This was never about baseball. It was about winning a NY6/BCS/CFP game, and both lady’s and men’s BB teams making it to sweet 16 in same school year.
So while UT did win a national championship in 1998. They also completed this task in same year this year with the NY6 Bowl win.

Football: We won a Natty in '19 and SEC West Champions last year.

Basketball: Sec Champs just a few years back.

What are you talking about?
